The film, set in 1930s London, revolves around a feared theater critic named Jimmy Erskine (Beale), his loyal assistant (Essiedu), a newspaper owner (Firth) who wants to get rid of the critic and an actress (Arterton) who has been devastated by the excoriating theatrical reviews. Stefanie Scott’s already busy year has just gotten a lot busier with roles in two independent films: Content’s Life At These Speeds and Marvista Entertainment’s Caught. Life At These Speeds centers on a young man (Graham Rogers) who, after his best friends die in an accident, finds that running allows him to remember them perfectly. He soon finds himself caught between keeping the past alive and making new memories in the present. Scott will play the supporting role of Ellie, Kevin’s deceased girlfriend and soulmate, alongside Liana Liberato, Sam Rockwell, Melanie Lynskey, and Billy Crudup. Producers are Tom Butterfield (The Trust) and Scott Alvarez (Down for Life).
Scott plays an unsuspecting mistress who is kidnapped by a housewife (Anna Camp, Pitch Perfect) in thriller Caught. It’s initially intended as a prank to teach the girl a lesson, but events soon spiral out of control. Maggie Kiley...
