Bart Hendrikx is an agent in the entertainment landscape. The first 10 years of his adult life would make a pretty decent feature film like Cameron Crowe's Almost Famous (2000). Touring with a US rock band, starring with them in a reality TV series The Rock Life (2007), enjoying courtside Lakers game seats with music legend Lou Adler, Dennis Hopper in Las Vegas, and Jack Nicholson in Aspen. This environment led Bart to work with actors like Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie
Through a 20-year career in film, music, television, and advertising, Bart has worked as a consultant, producer, and business strategist. From music videos, TV ads, and digital campaigns, to even brand/music activations like the Sonos x Gorillaz Spirit House to reality series like The Simple Life (2003) and feature films like Mr. & Mrs. Smith (2005) and Street Kings (2008)
He has worked for film production studios 20th Century Fox, New Regency, Fox Searchlight, broadcast television network Fox Television, basic cable television network VH1, media company Endemol, international creative music agency MassiveMusic, English film director Ridley Scott (RSA), and an integrated digital studio Parasol Island. With the last three companies, Hendrikx helped build satellite offices in London, Amsterdam, and Berlin. He also founded his own production company called VenSwichFilms, which he ran out of Amsterdam and Los Angeles.
Splitting his time for the last 13 years in cities like Berlin, Maastricht, Antwerp, London, Panama, Antibes, NY, Boston, San Francisco, Los Angeles, Newport Beach, and 5 years of Malibu, CA, Bart is now living in Amsterdam where he has settled for the last 4 years, in peace.
While in Amsterdam Bart, founded his own talent agency/consultancy company. He was later joined by Alexander Dengler. An American entrepreneur within the technology world and the son of a legendary German-American pilot Dieter Dengler. In 2005 Alexander worked closely with the director Werner Herzog to bring the feature film Rescue Dawn (2006) to life.
The company now has serviced over 20 clients already, varying from brands to film production companies in the start-up phase, digital studios, ad agencies, animation, and sound studios. Hendrikx expanded ex-KesselsKramer/THEY Patrick Van Der Gronde's and ex-THEY Sander Bakker LessAgency in Iran. Helped build the American music studio of Antfood with Partner Pedro Botsaris, and opened British Director Ridley Scott's European office in Amsterdam.
Hendrikx now represents (agent) legendary American filmmaker and screenwriter Darren Aronofsky's creative content company CHROMISTA in the EMEA and APAC regions and the Amsterdam-founded drone light company called Drone Stories in the EMEA, AMER, and APAC regions.
Drone Stories is a sister company of studio DRIFT. DRIFT is an Amsterdam-based artist duo founded by Ralph Nauta and Lonneke Gordijn in 2007. Represented by Pace Gallery and Carpenters Workshop Gallery. It specializes on in choreographed sculptures and kinetic installations, with the focus to re-establish the connection between humans and earth.
Drone Stories is known for their innovative 3D narrative drone light shows like Snoop Dogg's Las Vegas Bored Ape NFT drop, the performative art installation 'Franchise Freedom' at Burning Man, Virgil Abloh's 'Virgil Was Here' Louis Vuitton show at Art Basel Miami, 600 drone Owl at Electric Daisy Carnival Las Vegas (EDC) and the global HQ opening of Tesla in Austin, Texas (2.9mil viewers live stream tesla.com), etc.
