“Wraith” the first film to emerge from the slate of Mubina Rattonsey’s Zero Gravity Motion Pictures will shoot in Abu Dhabi in the second half of this year. The English-language horror thriller being directed by Armaan Zorace (“God is Dead”) is to feature a live, Muslim exorcism.
The plot focuses on a couple who hail from Seattle and attempt to settle down in a new town. But the house they find contains an evil presence, obliging them to fight forces from other dimensions.
This is a unique modern ghost story, which the mystery takes us into largely unexplored territory,” director and co-writer Zorace told Variety. “Abu Dhabi is ideal as it is easy and efficient, but also has the nuances of a Middle Eastern country that one cannot easily fabricate.”

Mubina Rattonsey’s recently launched Zero Gravity has secured $100 million in financing to develop and produce film and television content, Variety has learned exclusively.
The first movie on the slate will be the ghost story “Wraith” from director Armaan Zorace (“God Is Dead”). The producers are Rattonsey, alongside Rohini Singh and Manmeet Singh of Maurya Entertainment.
“Wraith” focuses on a married couple that heads to a new town, only to find an evil presence that surrounds them — requiring them to fight forces from other dimensions to survive. The film will be shot in a yet-to-be announced Islamic nation in documented haunted houses to capture Muslim exorcisms. The producers are developing camera technology specifically for the project, and plan to focus on sound.
“I consider sound to be 50% of the movie-going experience and ‘Wraith’ will feature a special binaural 3D sound which will transport the audience directly into the world of...

Cast: Ranveer Singh, Anushka Sharma, Manmeet Singh; Director: Maneesh Sharma; Rating: 3 out of 5.
There is a lot to like in the new Yash Raj film Band Baaja Baaraat.
The love story of two wedding planners in Delhi, Shruti and Bittoo, played by Anushka Sharma and Ranveer Singh, has a charm and sweetness that’s been missing from Yrf movies for many moons now.
Debutant director Maneesh Sharma, who has also written the story takes us out of the artificial studio setting and into the bylanes of the city. The dialogue and screenplay has been written by Habib Faisal, who directed.
