The NCIS: New Orleans team is pressing on without Christopher Lasalle (Lucas Black), following his shocking death on NCIS: New Orleans Season 6 Episode 6.

It shocked fans everywhere thanks to the twist not being revealed ahead of transmission, but how are Lasalle's former co-workers holding up in the aftermath?

Not well.

NCIS: New Orleans Season 6 Episode 7, which aired Tuesday on CBS, picked up in the aftermath of the death.

To the surprise of nobody, the team was kept from active duty for a few weeks to cope with the huge loss.

They were told that a return to work was off the cards until they had been cleared to do so by an NCIS psychologist. You know, standard protocol.

Loretta Wade (Cch Pounder) tried to make everyone believe she was fine, but she was annoyed that the team put themselves in such a precarious situation as part of the job.

Deadline’s Creative Arts Emmys Night 1 Live Blog

The first night of the Creative Arts Emmys are underway and we have Antonia Blyth, Matt Grobar and Diane Haithman were on the ground at Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles to report on all the winners coming out of the two-night ceremony before the Prime Time Emmys air on September 22.

Many iconic shows have end their run and Emmy staples like Game Of Thrones and Veep are vying for trophies at their final Emmy haul this weekend. 48 categories will be handed out tonight including Outstanding Animated Program, Outstanding Documentary Nonfiction Series, Outstanding Variety Special, Outstanding Structured Reality Program and others. The accolades will continue Sunday as they will give out 49 Creative Arts Emmys.

Creative Arts Emmys 2019: Watch our live Saturday coverage revealing all winners as they happen

Gold Derby presents our annual tradition of live coverage during the Creative Arts Emmy Awards. Our contributors Matt Noble, Riley Chow, Charles Bright and Tony Ruiz will reveal all of the winners from Saturday’s ceremony live on the Gold Derby home page. Creative Arts Emmys 2019: Complete list of presenters for both Saturday and Sunday ceremonies

The Television Academy has announced the complete list of presenters for both Creative Arts ceremonies to be held this weekend. They include stars from “Game of Thrones,” “Veep,” “Bojack Horseman,” “When They See Us,” “Chernobyl” and more. The Saturday event will mostly feature non-fiction, reality and variety categories. The Sunday ceremony includes the four guest acting categories and the ones for below-the-line fictional.

Both shows start at 5:00 p.m. Pt in downtown Los Angeles. They will not be live online or otherwise. Watch our special live coverage on the Gold Derby home page each evening as we announce and discuss every single winner while happening. Marcus Dixon and Zach Laws will be on the red carpet and in the press room Saturday. Laws and I will be there Sunday.
