You know how they say “never meet your heroes?” But what if your hero lets you wear his chainsaw-hand? What then???
Such is the situation facing Brian “Q” Quinn of TruTV’s Impractical Jokers. Like every American pop culture addict born before 1980, Q is a big fan of Sam Raimi’s 1981 gore-tastic opus The Evil Dead and its winsome shotgun-wielding star Bruce Campbell. Unlike most people born before 1980, Q has a job that regularly brings him into contact with very famous people … like Bruce Campbell. You see where this is going.
Since original Joker Joe Gatto left midway through the long-running prank series’ ninth season, remaining Jokers Q, Sal Vulcano, and James “Murr” Murray have welcomed a new guest star in each episode. The show’s 10th season, which premiered Feb. 9, has enjoyed the likes of Post Malone, Kesha, Kal Penn, and more. With this season’s 9th episode, airing April 13 at 10 p.

The Impractical Jokers are special. Hidden camera prank shows were nothing new when they first hit the air, but they found a way of doing it that has kept them going for over a decade. Much like Penn & Teller, the Jokers have constantly provided a brand of entertainment that everyone is used to, while finding ways to always make it feel fresh and new.
After the departure of Joe Gatto, a laundry list of celebrity guests have come in to fill some gaps. Now as Sal Vulcano, Brian “Q” Quinn, and James “Murr” Murray told Den of Geek, the list for Impractical Jokers Season 10 is growing even larger. Post Malone, Anthony Davis, and Bruce Campbell are just a few of the killer names to join in this go around. But, there is one surprise celebrity that the guys are super psyched about and we were shocked to hear about.

Another month means another streaming service overhaul: prepare for another round of disappearing movies and TV shows, just when you were finally gearing up to watch them. But on the bright side, that also means a bunch of new titles coming in to fill that void. As always, Hulu has plenty of titles — both old and new — to make sure it remains one of the dozen subscription services we all keep paying for.
Among the incoming titles are three different series set to close things out with their finale seasons: Hulu's widely acclaimed "Wu-Tang: An American Saga," the FX crime drama "Snowfall" and the recently canceled ABC drama, "A Million Little Pieces." The streamer is also daring to give Netflix a run for its money when it comes to the world of true crime docuseries. Impractical Jokers will soon return for new episodes but before the season picks up on Thursday, June 16, Brian “Q” Quinn, James “Murr” Murray, and Sal Vulcano returned for a special episode, teasing the new format since Joe Gatto‘s exit. The show which revolves around the life-long best friends and comedians is going through a few changes since they’ve become an onscreen trio, most notably, welcoming celebrity guests into the mix for a portion of each episode. Viewers got a taste of this in the recent special episode that aired on April 2 during the NCAA Men’s Final Four. Eric Andre was there to support the guys by stepping in for the punishment which involved Sal. “In the new season of Impractical Jokers, every episode ends with a different celebrity guest as part of the punishment,” Murr tells TV Insider. And there are plenty of other famous faces on the horizon.

The boys of truTV’s Impractical Jokers have been tasked with many humiliating punishments in their search for candid cringe comedy. Sal once had to perform as the “mean judge” of a children’s talent show. Q was forced to turn down a woman’s marriage proposal in a crowded stadium. The acrophobic Murr had to jump out of a freaking plane!
In the Impractical Jokers season 9 premiere, however, two jokers will be tasked with something truly unthinkable and unforgivable. Murr and Sal have to mix up the details of Star Wars and Star Trek. Check out the harrowing footage, exclusively provided to Den of Geek, below.

TruTV’s flagship series Impractical Jokers is getting a remotely filmed offshoot, Impractical Jokers: Dinner Party, amid the coronavirus-related Hollywood production shutdown.
The new, six-episode half-hour series is set to premiere on May 21. Starring Joe Gatto, James “Murr” Murray, Brian “Q” Quinn, and Sal Vulcano, collectively known as the comedy troupe The Tenderloins, the show virtually reunites the long-time friends, forced apart for the first time in over 25 years by the pandemic, as they sit down to break bread in their respective homes. Fans will see the group like never before, with an up close and personal glimpse at their lives while they practice social distancing. (Watch a promo above)
Impractical Jokers: Dinner Party marks the latest extension to the Impractical Jokers franchise. It follows the February release of the feature-length Impractical Jokers: The Movie, which had the highest per-screen average of all major theatrical openers in its first week.

For almost all of us, being stuck in our homes has led to mass amounts of boredom. For those like myself, not being able to go to the movie theater is a huge change from what we’re used to. Luckily, a number of films that came out just before the Coronavirus pandemic broke out have gone quickly to Video On Demand, allowing audiences to still indulge in their offerings. One such title is Impractical Jokers: The Movie, one of my favorite comedies of 2020 so far, and a perfect tonic from all of the world’s stress right now. Film wise, there are few options more determined to put a smile on your face than this one. For those who still don’t know about this team, a quick refresher is in order for you. The Impractical Jokers are Joe Gatto, James Murray, Brian Quinn (Q for short), and Sal Vulcano.

TruTV’s surprise winter feature sleeper Impractical Jokers: The Movie will be available on Wednesday, April 1, April Fool’s Day, just five weeks after its theatrical play due to the national shutdown of cinemas during the Covid-19 pandemic. Again no shocker here about the early home release given how all current theatrical releases such as Onward, Sonic the Hedgehog, Invisible Man and more have to take refuge in homes so that they can keep accruing bucks, especially when the entire nation is self quarantined.
The comedy stars James “Murr” Murray, Brian “Q” Quinn, Joe Gatto, and Sal Vulvano, aka the comedy troupe The Tenderloins, who play themselves in a fictional story of a humiliating high school mishap from the early ’90s. Paula Abdul, Jaden Smith, and Joey Fatone make cameos in a feature that combines the fictional narrative with real life footage of over-the-top punishments and callbacks to classic moments from the series.

“The Call of the Wild” is on path for a narrow victory over “Sonic the Hedgehog” in North America with about $28 million at 3,752 locations, estimates showed Saturday.
Disney-20th Century’s launch of the Harrison Ford movie has opened well above pre-release expectations and will wind up with a $3 million lead on “Sonic.” Stx’s supernatural horror sequel “Brahms: The Boy II” is battling “Bad Boys for Life” for fourth place with about $6 million at 2,151 venues, in line with forecasts.
Paramount’s second weekend of “Sonic” has slid 57% to about $25 million at 4,198 sites after its stellar launch over the Presidents’ Day holiday weekend. The film, a live-action and CGI hybrid about the speedy hedgehog, will finish the weekend with about $105 million in its first 10 days in North America.
Opening-day audiences gave “The Call of the Wild” an A- Cinemascore. Ford stars as outdoorsman John Thornton in an adaptation of Jack London...
