Dominic (Dom) Thomas is the Founding Partner of UK/US Production Company, Object & Animal.
Dom began his career as a creative producer at Jonathan Glazer's production company, Academy Films, where alongside working with Jon on various projects, he produced for its entire roster including Corin Hardy, Kim Gehrig, Lynne Ramsay, Martin de Thurah and Peter Cattaneo.
He has and continues to produce many high profile campaigns for global brands from Apple to H&M, Nike to Zara - winning accolades at every major industry award show (AICP, APA, British Arrows, Cannes Lions, Ciclope, D&AD, Kinsale, UKMVA).
His first love was for music videos, and since conceiving O&A has produced work for Paul Thomas Anderson, Taylor Swift, Madonna, Radiohead, The Rolling Stones and Bjork.
In 2022/3 he was Executive Producer on 6 short films ('Walls Like Windows', 'Ne Me Quitte Pas', 'Power Signal', 'Immaculate Deception', 'Stable' and 'Fine Dining') as well as being Executive Producer on Natalie Rae's debut Feature Documentary 'Daughters'.
'Daughters' won US Documentary Audience Award and Festival Favourite at the 2024 Sundance Film Festival.
Since it's launch in 2019 O&A has helped nurture some of the most exciting emerging talent and bring them to the attention of the industry - names such as Amber Grace Johnson, Natalie Rae & Christine Yuan. In 2019 they were named 'Company to Watch' by AdAge, and by 2022 gained a place in the AdAge A-List Top Ten. They have won Best Production Company at UKMVAs and are often in the Top 3 Most Respected companies in Televisual's Peer Poll.
Dom sits on the board of the British Arrows and the APA Council, and is a member of the Creative Mentor Network.
