Richie Kohan is a composer for film, TV, trailers, and other media.
His music has been used in trailer campaigns for Nightcrawler, Sin City 2, In The Heart of The Sea, 7th Son, and Stitchers, and he has done trailer adaptations for pop artists including Florence and The Machine, Common, The XX, Big K.R.I.T., Odesza, and Kieza, and film composers Alexandre Desplat, James Newton Howard, and Hans Zimmer.
Richie has also worked as an additional composer, orchestrator, and midi programmer for composers Clint Mansell, John Paesano, Ryan Shore, Daniele Luppi, Federico Jusid, and Joshua Johnson.
He has a BFA in music from UCLA and The New School University.
He lives in Los Angeles and enjoys singing John Williams melodies in sol feg to his 8 month old daughter.
