Exclusive: Critical Content, the production company behind Netflix’s Ginny & Georgia and Sylvester Stallone doc Sly, has made some hires and promotions in its creative team.
The Sk Global-backed company, which is run by President Jenny Daly, has hired former Dorsey Pictures exec Katie Hash as SVP, Development and promoted Matthew Pickel to SVP, Development and Current.
Elsewhere, it has hired Ryan Lash as Director of Development.
The trio report to Rob Lobl, EVP, Development.
Hash previously headed the development team at Dorsey Pictures, where she exec produced series including Oxygen’s Accident, Suicide or Murder. She left in 2021. She previously worked at A. Smith and Co. on series including American Ninja Warrior.

Netflix is doubling down on property.
The streamer has handed breakout reality series Selling Sunset a two season order – taking it through seasons six and seven and ordered a slate of new property, real estate and renovation shows.
Production on season six of high-end real estate series Selling Sunset, which follows the likes of Chrishell Stause, Christine Quinn and Mary Fitzgerald and their colleagues at The Oppenheim Group, will start later this summer.
The series, which is produced by Lionsgate and Done and Done Productions, is exec produced by creator Adam Divello, Sundee Manusakis, Kristofer Lindquist, Skyler Wakil and Jason Oppenheim.

The CW is set to air a music collaboration special Iconic: TLC featuring the groundbreaking female music group TLC. Hosted by Jordin Sparks, Iconic: TLC premieres Monday, June 1 at 8 Pm, followed by an original episode of Roswell, New Mexico at 9 Pm.
