Mike Faist is from Columbus, Ohio. He moved to New York at 17 to pursue acting. Mike dropped out of the conservatory he was attending after two semesters and was selling tickets for Off-Broadway plays. He made his Broadway debut in 2012 in "Newsies: The Musical". In 2016 he originated the role of Connor Murphy in the Broadway production of "Dear Even Hansen" for which he was nominated for the Tony Award for Best Performance by an Actor in a Featured Role in a Musical.

Nominated for a 2017 Tony Award for Best Featured Actor in a Musical for his role as Connor Murphy in &quot;Dear Evan Hansen&quot;.
