James McAvoy is back in a horrifying role onscreen to lead the English-language remake of “Speak No Evil.”
BAFTA award-winner McAvoy, who stunned audiences with his haunting performances in “Split” and “Glass,” plays a father who has an obsession with perfection. “Trauma bangs” are gone. Emily in Paris star Lily Collins confirmed on Instagram today that the cast of the popular Netflix comedy series have reconvened in Paris to begin production on the strike-delayed Season 4. Posing with the script for Episode 401, Collins revealed a hairstyle that harkens back to the first two seasons. In Episode 301, Emily famously chopped off her hair for what her Bff Mindy (Ashley Park) called “trauma bangs.” (You can watch the official Emily’s Trauma Bangs video below.) Emily sported the bangs for the entire season.
In her post, Collins referenced the long delay for Season 4, which was supposed to start filming last summer but was pushed to January by the WGA and the SAG-AFTRA strikes.
“Did someone say Saison Quatre?!”, Collins wrote in the caption, alongside a photo of herself with the first episode script. “Finally reunited with my @emilyinparis fam back in Paris and it feels so good.

"Emily in Paris" season four is still on the way, though it could be a while before it premieres. Filming for the next installment of our favorite Paris-based squad has been delayed due to the WGA and SAG-AFTRA strikes, but Variety reported on Sept. 29 that the show is expected to start shooting in January. Time is really of the essence.
From June 2024 through that September, all shoots in Paris are barred while the Olympic Games take place, plus access to key areas in the French capital could be restricted as early as March. Production has also already been forced to switch studios. With shooting locations becoming more competitive due to the smaller shooting time frame, it'll be a frantic few months for the "Emily in Paris" crew. But we have faith they'll make it work (please!). Series star Lily Collins spilled a few details about season four in a video...

“Challengers”, the anticipated tennis drama starring Zendaya, Josh O’Connor and “West Side Story”’s Mike Faist, will skip out on a French theatrical release and premiere on Prime Video instead.
The streamer announced the move on Monday during an upscale press event held at the Pavillon Royal on the outskirts of Paris.
Prime Video’s country managing director for France, Brigitte Ricou-Bellan, stated that the decision was made in lieu of France’s strict windowing rules, which prevents streamers from making a new film available on their services until 15 to 17 months after its theatrical roll out.

While unveiling its slate of new French originals and acquisitions on Monday, Prime Video announced that it would skip a French theatrical release for “Challengers,” Luca Guadagnino’s anticipated tennis drama. The film, which stars Zendaya, Josh O’Connor and “West Side Story” star Mike Faist, will still be released in theaters in all other territories.
During a posh press event hosted at the Pavillon Royal on the outskirts of Paris, Brigitte Ricou-Bellan, Prime Video’s country managing director for France, said the strategic move by the Amazon streamer resulted from France’s notoriously strict windowing rules, which demands streamers to wait 15 to 17 months after a theatrical roll out before making a new film available on their services. The rule has led other studios to opt to skip French cinemas for new releases before, such as Disney’s decision to debut “Strange World” on streaming.

The immense success of the Netflix series “Emily in Paris” has transformed a quiet, untouched square in the French capital into a tourist magnet.
In the historic Latin Quarter and just a short walk from the magnificent, domed Pantheon, tucked so deeply away that you could easily miss it, lies the Place de l’Estrapade. For diehard, beret-wearing fans of the show, this sliver of a neighborhood has become a landmark of its own.
That’s because this is where the fictional character Emily Cooper, a 20-something American portrayed by Lily Collins, lives, dines and savors French pastries from the local bakery.
The newfound attention can be disruptive for the real people who live and work here, but the show is also igniting a new passion for Paris — and even anti-Emily graffiti has become part of the attraction.

“Emily in Paris” star Lucas Bravo is thankful to George Clooney and Julia Roberts, who starred with him in hit 2022 romcom “Ticket to Paradise.”
The dashing French star, who is also known for “Mrs. Harris Goes to Paris,” was speaking at a press meet for the 16th Asian Film Awards in Hong Kong, where he is a presenter.
“George and Julia happen to be the most generous, kind and protective people I’ve ever worked with — they go out of their way to make the set a safe place,” Bravo said. “They gave me an opportunity to improvise, they made me feel loved and accepted. And I’ve learned with them that the bigger the star, the nicer the person, so it gives me a lot of fuel for the rest of my career.”

David Beckham was on daddy duty at Paris Fashion Week. The 47-year-old retired soccer star brought along his 17-year-old son, Cruz Beckham, to the Dior Homme show on Jan. 20. The dapper father-son duo sat in the front row next to the likes of Eddie Redmayne, Karlie Kloss, Gwendoline Christie, and Robert Pattinson.
David and Cruz both wore suits, albeit different iterations: the elder Beckham wore a brown slim-fit suit and patent-leather shoes, while his son wore his gray oversize outfit with sneakers. Prior to arriving at the runway show, David shared a photo of himself and Cruz posing at their hotel. "Dad & Son," the caption read. David also added "missing u mum," a note to his wife, Victoria Beckham, who is also in Paris for the menswear presentations but did not attend that particular Dior Homme show.

Spoiler Alert: This interview contains spoilers from Season 3 of “Emily in Paris.”
The process of designing the costumes for Season 3 of “Emily in Paris” started with a bang.
Or rather, with bangs. Lily Collins, who plays the Netflix dramedy’s title role, first cut some fringe into her hair in her own life before the look made its way into the show. Attempting to turn over a new leaf after the dilemmas created by the Season 2 finale, Season 3 begins with Emily feeling manic and grabbing a pair of scissors — an ordeal that costume designer Marilyn Fitoussi found inspiring.
“Everything starts with Lily’s bangs. She sent me a picture, and suddenly, it reminded me of French icons of the ’60s,” Fitoussi says. “New wave movies. You have Jean-Luc Godard, you have Brigitte Bardot, you have Jane Birkin — all these delicate, graceful silhouettes.” I said, ‘Jesus, she looks like Françoise Hardy!

Spoiler alert: The following article discusses the entirety of “Emily in Paris” Season 3.
Just when you thought the ship of Emily (Lily Collins) and Gabriel (Lucas Bravo) had officially sailed — I mean, we were bearing witness to the latter’s impromptu wedding to Camille (Camille Razat) — an anchor is let down: Camille, still reeling from the intensity of her relationship with free-spirited artist Sofia (Melia Kreiling), calls it all off, but not before declaring the reason for doing so is Gabriel’s buried feelings for Emily. With everyone shaken, Alfie (Lucien Laviscount) also storms out, saying he will not be a second choice. And last, but certainly not least, Gabriel and Emily reconnect, finally open about their desires, as the former declares that Camille is pregnant.

In the season finale of the Netflix show, we see Camille (Camille Razat) and Gabriel (Lucas Bravo) preparing to tie the knot. But at the very last minute, Camille halts her vows and gives a dramatic speech in which she tells Gabriel about her secret pact with Emily (Lily Collins).

It took a moment for me to recognize Lucas Bravo in the movie “Ticket to Paradise.”
On Netflix’s “Emily in Paris,” Bravo plays Gabriel; the criminally handsome, criminally French neighbor of the titular Emily (Lily Collins), a French chef in France who speaks French and who is set up as Emily’s endgame from Season 1, Episode 1. He is kind and attractive (and French), the diet version of better romantic heroes, but not a particularly compelling or entertaining character — but it turns out Bravo has the capacity for both.
In “Ticket to Paradise,” Bravo plays easily the wildest part of an already wild film. Acrimonious divorcees David (George Clooney) and Georgia (Julie Roberts) reunite in Bali on a mission to stop their daughter from an impulsive marriage, and Bravo plays Georgia’s besotted young paramour. The character still lacks dimension, arguably, but in a way that bolsters his entertainment value...

Warning: This post contains spoilers for major plot points in “Emily in Paris” Season 3.
“Emily in Paris” might be the fun, mindless binge of the holiday season, an opportunity for audiences to admire attractive men and audacious couture without splurging on a ticket to France.
But that’s not why you’re watching.
“Emily in Paris” fans, like the characters themselves, love mess. This is a show about shiny hot people who love chaos — one of Netflix’s most successful genres — and a show that viewers too sane to blow up their own lives can guiltlessly and joyfully binge. Season 3 is no different, with flirtations, affairs, hookups, and workplace drama, some of which is legitimate madness and some of which is just messy fools loving drama. Jobs are lost, relationships sabotaged, friendships tested, and at one point Luc (Bruno Gouery) proudly declares, “I am a star fucker.” It is glorious.

Emily in Paris has had quite the ride. The first season, about a Chicago PR girl who heads to the City of Love, was critically derided, hailed as a sign that Netflix was giving up on quality TV and churning out formulaic shows instead. But creator Darren Star promised to iron out the kinks, and by the time season two rolled around, reviewers U-turned, claiming the show was now totally “in on the joke”. As the third run of episodes arrive on Netflix, I’m unconvinced. Is it enough for a show to be in on the joke if the joke isn’t a good one? Does knowing your show is clichéd make it immune to criticism?
The third instalment picks up mere days after last season’s cliffhanger finale, which saw the charming – or so we’re told – Emily (Lily Collins) in professional, emotional and geographical limbo. Does she...

Emily Cooper (Lily Collins) finally feels like she belongs in Paris. Season 2 of Netflix’s romantic comedy hit “Emily in Paris” ended with its titular marketing guru at a crossroads. Should she return to her life in Chicago, or stay in her messy new life á Paris? She tried to choose Paris, but breaking up with her American (and very pregnant) boss Madeline (Kate Walsh) was no easy feat. And thus, “Emily in Paris” Season 3 begins with a series of almost slapstick routines as Emily tries to be in two places at once without bothering anybody. Can she make it to both a client dinner at the Eiffel Tower and her boyfriend’s going away party? Who will get first dibs on the McDonald’s account, the old firm or the new? It’s exhausting and quickly goes predictably wrong, but that’s when Season 3 suddenly kicks into a new gear,...

A third season with bright, bold, bubbly Emily Cooper? That’s like renewing the best virtual tour of Paris with a highly poised guide. “Emily’s graduated to a new level of confidence,” says Emily in Paris star Lily Collins. First, what about her long-simmering love for chef Gabriel (Lucas Bravo), who has reunited with champagne heiress Camille (Camille Razat)? “Emily’s friendship with Camille is important,” Collins says, adding that Emily can now focus on romance with banker Alfie (Lucien Laviscount), whose friendship with Gabriel “makes things complicated.” Another crossroads: return to Chicago with practical (and...

“Not choosing is still choosing?”
That’s the question Emily (Lily Collins) asks herself in the third season of “Emily in Paris,” premiering on Netflix on Dec. 21. After a year of looming decisions, Emily will have to make some major choices in her personal and professional life.
At the series’ New York premiere on Thursday night, the cast of “Emily in Paris” spoke to Variety about the indecisive nature of human behavior and the juicy love triangles that will unfold in Season 3.
“[Emily] is indecisive and yet weirdly decisive. But then the second she picks a lane, it all gets messed up,” Collins told Variety at the French Consulate General, adding that she relates to her character’s uncertainty. “I feel like I like to sit in the middle of decisions sometimes and overthink a lot. Emily has to focus on one thing at a time now, and I admire that...

The new season, which drops Dec. 21, finds Emily at a crossroads in all aspects of her life as she is forced to decide ultimately where her loyalties lie — both personally and professionally — and what those decisions mean for her future in France, all while continuing to immerse herself in the adventures and surprising twists and turns that life in Paris provides.
If the season 2 finale was enough of a jaw-dropper, Collins hints that the final episode of the new season is even more surprising. “I will say that the last episode leaves you on another cliffhanger,” the series’ leading lady teased to...

Snubbed by the French when it first launched, Netflix’s hit show “Emily in Paris” has come a long way. Judging by the crowds of overjoyed fans and robust media presence at the global premiere of season 3 in Paris, the show has now been embraced as much by locals as the rest of the world.
Netflix went all in for “Emily in Paris'” first world premiere, fittingly held in the French capital at the revamped Champs Elysées Theater. The posh event lured the entire cast, including stars Lily Collins, Ashley Park, Philippine Leroy-Beaulieu, Kate Walsh and Camille Razat who all dazzled in bold designer outfits and were seen hugging and complimenting each other. The streamer had set the tone with the dress code, “C’est Paris, it’s couture baby!”
