Ferran Romeu Sunyer (Barcelona, 1990) is a Spanish filmmaker. He graduated from ESCAC (Superior School of Cinema and Audiovisual of Catalunya), with a major in Documentary and he studied a postgraduate degree in Post Production at the Met Film School (London). He has written and directed, among others, the short film Tales of Rabassada (Barcelona, 2016), which won the award for best film in the Premier Pas section in the well known Swiss film festival Visions du Réel (2016); he is also the screenwriter and director of the documentary The Passion of Barcelona, produced by the Catalan Government (Barcelona, 2017) and released in the Filmoteca de Catalunya; he has also directed the documentary "A day in Sant Pau's Kitchen" (2019), a portrait of the famous restaurant of Carme Ruscalleda in Sant Pol de Mar, produced by Palau Robert Museum. He is an associate professor in the BA in Cinema and Media Studies in ESCAC (UAB).
