Award-winning actor, producer, and television host Jorge Heredia was born and raised in Mexico City, Mexico. His father is of Spanish descent and his mother is of German ancestry. Jorge began his acting career on television, appearing in the CBS series, Touched by an Angel (1994) and then as the host of the Emmy® award winning international variety show, ¿Qué Pasa Miami? (1994), which garnered him a PAOLI award.

After the show's initial success, Hollywood took note of the handsome Mexican actor. Casting him in a spectrum of ethnically diverse English speaking characters on both big and small screens. To include "Promised Land", "American Flyboys'' and several made for television movies, all while continuing to host Spanish-language shows for Univision. In 2012, he joined FOX International as a national correspondent for the networks' new Spanish-language channel, {link=co0374866] . Serving as Anchor for Noti-puntos52 (2012), and the host-producer of Lalo y Amigos (2012)

Distinguished by his passion for the entertainment business and creative talents, Jorge began writing and producing various television and film projects in Mexico, co-founding a production company with his friend actor/producer Miguel Hoffman. However, he has not limited his professional career to just acting, Heredia is passionate about environmental and humanitarian causes. Since 2017 he has served as an Ambassador for Earth X and Spokesperson for Fossil Rim Wildlife Center.
