The Real Housewives of Potomac star Candiace Dillard-Bassett didn’t appreciate Rhoa alum Porsha Williams’ observation of the fallout from her physical altercation with Monique Samuels. The two Bravo stars finally came face to face while filming Season 3 of Ultimate Girls Trip and laid out their issues with one another. “This filthy milkmaid,” she told producers in a confessional.

Candiace Dillard Bassett is back with accusations of colorism as The Real Housewives of Potomac Season 7 trailer premieres.
Candiace and fellow Rhop costar Wendy Osefo have suggested that colorism exists within the cast of Rhop, something briefly addressed during the Season 5 reunion. All the ladies, except Wendy and Candiace, agreed that colorism was not an issue amongst the Potomac cast.
Candiace has revealed that she believed she was a victim of colorism because of the hatred she has received as a Housewife.
She wrote a tweet about a certain sect of viewership and suggested that those would defend “deplorable” behaviors.
The tweet coincided with the trailer from Season 7, which dropped on Tuesday. A notable moment in the Season 7 trailer featured Mia Thornton throwing a drink in Wendy Osefo’s face.

Strip away all of the drama, and season five of The Real Housewives of Potomac was still one for the books. That's because the group of housewives that reside in and around the affluent Maryland town—Gizelle Bryant, Ashley Darby, Robyn Dixon, Karen Huger, Monique Samuels, Candiace Dillard and Wendy Osefo—are a genuine joy to watch even when they're just casually chatting at, say, a housewarming party. Of course, this is a Real Housewives franchise we're talking about, so said housewarming party may or may not involve singing telegram invitations and the hostess making a Beyoncé-inspired entrance. Monique Samuels will not be returning to The Real Housewives of Potomac.
Samuels revealed her decision Sunday on Instagram Live following The Real Housewives of Potomac Season 5 reunion show. “It’s not easy doing reality TV, and to be quite honest… I’m over it. I’m over it,” she told fans.
“I appreciate everything people have done for me, everybody that has been Team Monique, I love y’all, I thank y’all. But when you cross certain lines, there’s no going back. Samuels described Sunday’s Season 5 reunion show as “very draining” to watch and explained that she decided to leave the show in an effort to protect her family from drama.
