His novels Watership Down and The Plague Dogs were turned into animated features, and his novel The Girl in a Swing was also turned into a movie. He died on December 24. (BBC) Pierre Barough (1934-2016) - French Actor, Singer, Songwriter. He co-starred in Claude Lelouch's A Man and a Woman and received a Golden Globe nomination for the film's title song.
