Daisy Ridley’s time in the Star Wars saga might be coming to an end soon.
The actress is only a few months away now from welcoming The Rise of Skywalker into theaters, in which she’ll reprise her breakout role (Rey). In a strange twist of fate, it’ll be helmed by J.J. Abrams, who intends on closing out the story he began back in The Force Awakens. And after that?
Well, we know Lucasfilm is working on a brand new trilogy from Rian Johnson (The Last Jedi), which will surely offer up the closest thing to a blank canvas since George Lucas first brought us A New Hope in ’77. Meanwhile, there’s also another new trilogy coming from Game of Thrones showrunners David Benioff and D.B. Weiss.
