Ming-Na Wen Has Joined the Cast of The Mandalorian
Ming-Na Wen, the actress known for her voice in Disney’s animated Mulan, as well as her role of Melinda May in Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., has now revealed that she will co-star in the Disney+ Star Wars series, The Mandalorian. Deadline reports that while being honored today at D23 during the annual Disney Legends honors, Wen gave a speech in which she referenced the upcoming role. Here’s what she had to say:

“Please just keep acquiring all these different franchises,” she said during her speech, turning to Iger, “because I just keep getting employed by them. I have hit every bucket list thanks to Disney.”

The upcoming series also stars Pedro Pascal (Narcos) as “a lone Mandalorian gunfighter in the outer reaches of the galaxy.” It also includes Gina Carano (Deadpool) as Cara Dune, Carl Weathers (Predator) as Greef Carga, Omid Abtahi (American Gods) as Dr. Pershing,
