Adam Scott to Star on Apple TV+ Workplace Thriller ‘Severance’ Directed by Ben Stiller
Apple TV+ has given a series order to drama “Severance,” starring Adam Scott and directed by Ben Stiller, the streaming service announced Friday.

Described as a “workplace thriller,” the show “introduces Lumen Industries, a company that’s looking to take work-life balance to a new level. Scott will play the lead role of Mark, an employee with a dark past trying to put himself back together.”

The series is created, written and executive produced by Dan Erickson, with Chris Black also executive producing. Stiller (who recently directed Showtime’s acclaimed miniseries “Escape at Dannemora”) will direct and executive produce the show alongside Nicky Weinstock and Jackie Cohn for Stiller’s Red Hour Productions. Adam Scott will serve as producer.

The project hails from Endeavor Content, the studio behind fellow Apple TV+ dramas “See” and the soon-to-premiere “Truth Be Told.
