‘The Irishman’ Leads in Nominations at the Netflix-Heavy Critics’ Choice Awards
Martin Scorsese’s “The Irishman” led all films in nominations for the Critics’ Choice Awards, which will serve as a showcase for all things Netflix on both the film and television sides when it takes place on Jan. 12.

The Irishman” received 14 nominations in the 23 film categories, including Best Picture, Best Director, Best Adapted Screenplay and acting nominations for Robert De Niro, Joe Pesci and Al Pacino. Quentin Tarantino’s “Once Upon a Time … in Hollywood” was second with 12 nominations, followed by “Little Women” with nine, “1917” and “Marriage Story” with eight and “Jojo Rabbit,” “Joker” and “Parasite” with seven.

Netflix was the most-nominated studio, with 30 nominations spread among “The Irishman,” “Marriage Story,” “Dolemite Is My Name,” “The Two Popes,” “Atlantics” and “I Lost My Body.” Sony was second with 24 nominations, led by “Once Upon a Time … in Hollywood” but also including “Little Women” “A Beautiful Day in the Neighborhood” and
