Emmy episode analysis: Meryl Streep (‘Big Little Lies’) takes the stand in ‘I Want to Know’
It’s safe to say that Meryl Streep’s blood-curdling scream on “Big Little Lies” reached even Emmy voters, as they shortlisted her in Best Drama Supporting Actress for the HBO series’ second installment. On her fifth nom, Streep is a three-time victor for “Holocaust”, “Angels in America” and “Five Came Back”, and a nominee for “First Do No Harm”.
