The 45-year-old actress who had a troubled childhood and has been through a lot in her life in the form of addiction, legal battles and divorce got candid during this week’s Sunday Sitdown.

She also discussed her personal life, from the failure of the four-year marriage with actor Will Kopelman to being a mom to her two young daughters.
“I really did not take divorce well. I took it really hard. Even now, I’m just like, oh, it’s such a painful thing,” Drew Barrymore said.
“It took me five years to be able to speak with strength, articulation, perspective, hindsight, and see everything we did right.
