Kotsur, who made history as the first deaf male actor nominated for an Oscar, has shown surprising strength all season, winning major precursor awards at the Screen Actors Guild, BAFTA Awards, and Critics Choice Awards — and during each televised event, Kotsur’s speeches were a highlight.
