Before he made 'Birdman' and 'The Revenant,' Alejandro Gonzalez Iñárritu caught the world's eye with 'The Death Trilogy,' his trilogy of films with nonlinear, interconnected story lines. Between them, the three movies have earned ten Oscar nominations and one Oscar win, as well as several nominations and wins from the Golden Globes, the Cannes Film Festival, and the Screen Actors Guild, among others.
