Poll: Face-Off: 'Encanto' vs. 'Coco'

These recent Oscar Winners for Best Animated Feature Film have storylines focused on Latin American cultures.

Encanto, winner of the 2022 Oscar is focused on a Colombian family and is filled with the folklore of that South American country.

Coco, winner of the Oscar in 2018 was set in Mexico, and it featured Day of the Dead, an Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity tradition with roots going back to Pre-Columbian Mexico.

Both film were also noted for their music with an Oscar win for Coco and a nomination for Encanto.
