The Triple Crown of Acting is a term used in the American acting community to describe actors who have won a competitive Academy Award, an Emmy Award, and a Tony Award in acting categories. There were only ever 21 actors to reach this pinnacle until The Tony Awards held their latest ceremony on Sunday, June 12, 2016, and now another actor, Jessica Lange, has entered the ranks, taking the total to 22.
