Poll: Best Speculative "Game of Thrones" Successor

According to the Game of Thrones Fandom website, George R.R. Martin, the author of the 'A Song of Ice and Fire' novels and related works, has been hired by HBO as a consultant. HBO and Martin intend to develop spinoff projects to the hit TV show, "Game of Thrones" for the HBO family of networks and to expand the "Game of Thrones" franchise universe. So far, showrunners Condal & Sapochnik's House of the Dragon (2022) is the only fully realized successor to Game of Thrones (2011), now that filming is complete on the episodic series' ten-episode first season. Further, "Martin has insisted that these upcoming projects be called "successor shows" or prequel projects, but not "spinoffs" - feeling that "spinoff" implies a deeper connection to the Game of Thrones TV series. ... (As of June 2022,) HBO is considering four potential live-action successors (3 prequels and 1 sequel), all of which have advanced from the pitch phase to the pilot script phase. There is no guarantee yet that any of them will be greenlit to film a pilot or a full series, though George R.R. Martin said that progress is going well. ... (Additionally,) HBO is considering three separate animated prequel pitches." Source: Game of Thrones Fandom
