The Lord of the Rings and Game of Thrones are probably the two most popular epic fantasy series that were adapted from the highly acclaimed novel series by J.R.R. Tolkien and George R.R. Martin respectively.
In both adaptations, one very popular character was omitted. Tom Bombadil from Tolkien's The Lord of the Rings and Lady Stonehart from Martin's A Song of Ice and Fire.
