This was an extremely great start to season 3. With new song, new animation and even a darker tone. This show never fails to amaze me. Especially since it's a 10 minute show. Starting off with Connie and Steven's excellent friendship then to Connie's wanting to be a sword fighter and fight for Steven. The two are still adorably cute and the gems are still great mothers! Hopefully later in the season, the episodes will be darker and go deeper into the gems history like this episode. I especially loved the song between Pearl and Connie. And it's honestly great to see that Steven is now getting use to his powers. I look forward to the show and I give props to Rebecca Sugar
