This is a movie that I'm sure many people will love and be terrified of, but this is one that I really struggled to get into

"Don't think it. Don't say it." Elliot (Smith), his girlfriend and his friend John (Laviscount) have all just moved into a new house and are starting to settle in. They begin to notice and hear strange sounds almost instantly. When Elliot discovers a night stand with writing on it he unlocks a terror, long hidden, with the power to destroy the lives of everyone. This is a movie, based off the preview, looked like a horror version of Beetlejuice. If it actually was that I would have liked it more. This movie had everything set up for something scary, then it just became a little too repetitive and a tad too cheesy for me to get fully involved in. This is a movie that I'm sure many people will love and be terrified of, but this is one that I really struggled to get into. Overall, a movie that tried so hard to be scary but just fell short. I give this a C+.
