one big hype, was for the Joker to be an advocate for gamers everywhere by saying the line "we live in a society" which to their suprise, Joaquin Pheonix promised to say the famous line but in the film, Arthur Fleck/the Joker never lived up to his promise
this makes me think, that the people behind the movie, were a bunch of CHADS who wanted to make gamers look bad and catch it all on one convinient page and then just straight up quarantine it
