To keep it short....its a okaaaay, but not that interesting series. Why you ask?
Characters as usual are very transparent and forseeable. Who´s the LGBT bloke, the interracial couple, the bad guy, the good guy....you can figure it out in a matter of 60 seconds if you watch the series, which mainly made me give it only 4 points.
The so called subtle plots and schemes are on typical US TV Level. To give you an example, the rich, sociopathic white girl which only cries if it serves her purpose. come on guys! The rich girl which plays the so called underprivileged as pawns in a chess game, the Social Warrior Black lad, the lesbians, the Frag queen bloke.....you are trying so hard that plot and dialouge are secondary.There was more potential actually i was hoping, but you guys then made the bad guys all english....the Nazis of 21st century TV.
To the positive points. The attempt to break this class system which is a good metaphor usnig a train. Exposure of the Dead Mr. Wilford, where quite interesting angles. Production was also quite nice....so its a piece you can watch, but its merely nothing worth remembering.
Dear producers, as mainly with stuff you do today....it´s about substance, dialouge and plot, not about demographics and petty unimportant mainstream. There is no reason for people to watch or even to rewatch a series years later if you only hopped on to the bandwagon....so yeah.
