The imagery was very unsettling and real for each of the seven sins, but I just couldn't get over how they found the serial killer based on the books which he checked out from the library. Like really? There's only one library in this city, and the serial killer uses that huge ass library instead of just buying the books from a book store? He had a huge ass library in his apartment anyway, so why would he be using the library? Just seemed weird that they were studying Dante while being detectives, it felt really.... pretentious. We're eng lit students now, not detectives
Also the final scene - also doesn't make sense with his motivations. He wants to punish each person because of a deadly sin, but he decides to ultimately kill himself for his deadly sin of envy - which he had because of one day? Like??? Idk I know it was meant to be scary but I just ended up laughing because of how unrealistic it all was
Overall average movie, giving it a 5 because I can tell lots of money was spent on it
