The truth is finally out, the killer strikes again, and takes a hostage.
I had a feeling this story was going to end with a flourish, and it really does, I've found the mystery a little patchy at times, some episodes slow, some loaded with content, this ties everything together, it's exciting, and hugely dramatic.
A very satisfying outcome, all of the random threads are neatly tied together, we're given all sorts of red herrings in the previous episode, but one person had started asking too many questions, this was very satisfying.
Penny Downie arguably steals the show here, DI Miskin is very much the character centre stage here, I felt like they'd downplayed her somewhat, here she packs a real punch, brave and courageous.
