Review:

Fantasy Island could be taken as a long pilot chapter and in a current key of the famous television series starring Ricardo Montalbán that aired between 1978 and 1984.

A group of tourists arrives on an island where their main unfulfilled wish materializes. In almost all cases, a past event that projects loss, frustration, or guilt and must be repaired in some way.

The film bets on the mix of genres: science fiction, comedy, thriller, action, drama, horror and survival reality and seems a combination of Lost, Westworld, Dark and some other series and films that should not be revealed.

Although it is somewhat silly, it raises a great variety of situations, climates, turns and changes of points of view that manage to keep the viewer hooked and the convergence of the characters and their narrative lines is more or less achieved, resulting in a fun film , ideal for a Saturday night.
