The movie has amazing visuals with its great utilisation of CGI as the camera work is done in such a way that it's not glaringly obvious it's computer generated. It it slowly paced but the pacing suits the source material being adapted. Hans Zimmer absolutely delivers on the score as it is unique,exotic and otherworldly as it should be. The cast is great too. Great directing by Dennis Villeneuve!
My main issue with the movie is that it is not well structured in terms of the story. There comes a point where it just abruptly ends and no real climax is reached. I acknowledge the fact that a part 2 is coming and this will probably be resolved but I judge a movie for what it is having to wait a couple of years doesn't help.
Another 'flaw' is the exposition dump at the begging. It was done quite elegantly but is is still a bit overwhelming as important as it was it should have probably been given a bit more of space to breathe.
But those are mostly nitpicks and overall the movie is spectacular 9/10.
