I love basketball, and this show has a great cast, and despite McKay not being able to get out of his own way often the pacing and direction is at least energetic. All that being said, no episode of TV about the Showtime Lakers should feature more screen time of Magic eating p*ssy than actual basketball. That's not a joke nor an exaggeration, there was 0 min of ball the episode and a weird 2 min scene of Magic going down on a girl he was about to break up with. I am not prude if this was a brothel scene in GoT sure why not but it makes you wonder who are they making this show for?! Anyone whose watching it is here for the basketball or the culture not for another Magic relationship heavy episode. Ugh, such potential wasted time and time again. Magic's personal life is by far the least interesting part of this story and gets the most screen time. Hopefully that changes in the final 4 eps but I'm sadly not hopeful at this point.
