a grade school version of MacBeth, which was the first (and last) time
he ever wore a kilt in public. He returned to his childhood passion
with the acclaimed Acting for Film and Television program at the
William Davis Centre in Vancouver, graduating with honors in November

After graduating high school he moved to London, UK and began working as a camera assistant at ShootYou Video Production and BBC Television. Dan began contributing editorial illustrations regularly to New York Magazine's weekly "Intelligencer" column, eventually leaning harder into comics journalism with a long form collaboration with journalist Michael Crowley. Together they created 08: A GRAPHIC DIARY OF THE CAMPAIGN TRAIL, a 160-page nonfiction graphic novel documenting the chaotic 2008 Presidential election--written and drawn in real-time--which resulted in a hybrid of the visual languages of comics and magazine design that NPR Books called "defiantly and refreshingly unconventional."
Post-election, Dan and his wife moved to São Paulo, Brazil where he began to produce his long-gestating passion project: a paranormal horror series called RED LIGHT PROPERTIES. Initially serialized online at Tor, the series saw print via IDW Books (US) and Plot! (Brazil) and is currently in-development as a live-action TV series.
Returning to NYC, Dan produced multiple seasons of Emmy-winning experiences for AMC Television including Breaking Bad, The Killing, and Halt & Catch Fire and scripted two video games based on mega-hit series The Walking Dead. He then co-created the augmented-reality enabled feminist comic series PRIYA'S SHAKTI. Funded by the Tribeca Film Institute, Ford Foundation and the National Endowment for the Arts, Dan criss-crossed the Indian subcontinent several times, working directly with the young people his stories were created to inspire. The series has since been downloaded nearly 1.5 million times in multiple languages worldwide. This experience in India inspired Dan to found the Kinjin Story Lab, a narrative studio dedicated to creating mindful entertainment across multiple media. - Music Department

Born in Sacramento, CA. and lived throughout the Lake Tahoe basin and
Reno, NV areas during his early childhood ultimately ending up living
with his dad in Las Vegas after the tragic loss of his mother at age
10. From there Dennis was introduced to the acting world by an actress
from whom his father was dating. Per her suggestion, Dennis was
enrolled in a local acting conservatory where he says he got the
"acting bug" that propelled him to continue studying with several
acting coaches and methods as well as performing in theater and other
productions throughout his junior high and high school years. At the
same time his interest in music was growing giving him a passion for
guitar. His passion for guitar led him to play with many rock
bands on the local circuit ultimately becoming a lead guitar player
with a Christian rock band named "ledfoot." After being together for
only 3 months the band released a 5 song demo which lead to them
ultimately being signed with a studio label, 90 degree records,
which paid for them to go into the studio and record a full album produced by Mike Roe from
the underground favorite area band, The 77's.
Although still involved in music, Dennis became more involved in his
passion of acting once again, being cast in many commercials, industrials, TV and film throughout the region.
He studied more in depth acting from San Francisco to Los Angeles at places like the prestigious groundlings
school of improv, UCLA and others as well as working with several
casting directors running casting sessions for major television,
commercial and movie productions and becoming a premier acting coach to
many actors from the region. Some of which have gone on to have very
successful acting careers. Now, as well as being actively involved in
the acting world, Dennis also works behind the camera as a director,
writer, producer, sound designer and editor. He loves the challenge of
non studio backed movie making and has his hands in several guerrilla
indie films where he shares his passion and experience to help his
friends, students and other local talent put together quality indie,
low budget filming and hopefully lead to successful careers in front of
and behind the camera.
