Lin-Manuel Miranda wrote the first incarnation of "In the Heights" his sophomore year at Wesleyan University in Connecticut. Off-Broadway, "In The Heights" received nine Drama Desk nominations, including best music, best lyrics, and it won the award for outstanding ensemble performance; received the Lucille Lortel Award and Outer Critics Circle Award for best musical; received the Obie Award for outstanding music and lyrics; received a Theater World Award for outstanding debut Performance and the Clarence Derwent Award both for Mr. Miranda's performance. He is the recipient of the 2007 ASCAP Richard Rodgers New Horizons Award. He has appeared on The Sopranos (1999) and Sex and the City (1998), House (2004), and The Electric Company (2006). Mili Avital is the first Israeli actor to establish a career in Hollywood. She started on stage at the age of 17 in Tel Aviv's Cameri National Theater. In film, she won the Israeli Academy Award for Best Supporting Actress and was nominated for Best Actress, both before she was 20. Moving to the US in 1994, Avital starred in numerous films including Jim Jarmousch's Deadman and Roland Emmerich's Stargate. Her extensive television work includes Law & Order, Damages and a starring stint in Prisoners of War (aka Hatufim)-- which the New York Times listed number one in its "Thirty Best International TV Shows of the Decade" (2019).
For 2024, Avital has just completed Mary opposite Anthony Hopkins and she is currently filming Kugel, a spin off of the hit series Shtisel. An Italian film based on Meir Shalev's award-winning novel, Four Meals, is scheduled for release next year.
As a director, Avital co-wrote and directed Next Stop at the Broadway Comedy Club (2017-2018) and her short documentary film, I Think Myself I Am All the Time Younger, was part of the Tribeca Film Festival in 2004.
Avital lives in London and New York, and has been married for many years to Oscar-winning screenwriter, Charles Randolph. They have two children.- Actress

A native of Tennessee, Montego Glover lives in New York. A Tony Award nominee, Drama Desk Award winner, Outer Critics Circle Award winner, and Drama League Award nominee for her original work on Felicia Farrell in Memphis. Glover also continues to work on numerous Film, TV, concert, commercial and voiceover projects.- Nilaja Sun is an actor, playwright and teaching artist most known for her Obie award winning solo piece "No Child..." which had its initial off Broadway run at the Barrow Street Theatre from July 2006-June 2007 and was recently revived there in an extended run. For her creation and performance of No Child... and its subsequent national tour, Nilaja garnered 21 awards including: an Obie Award, a Lucille Lortel Award, two Outer Critics Circle Awards including the John Gassner Playwriting Award for Outstanding New American Play, a Theatre World Award, the Helen Hayes Award, two NAACP Theatre Awards, and was named the Best One-Person Show at the U.S. Comedy Arts Festival in Aspen. "No Child..." is published and has been licensed out to over 45 theatres nationally since 2008. In 2010, Nilaja was awarded the soloNOVA Award for Artist of the Year by terraNOVA Collective. She has also been seen on 30 Rock, Law & Order: SVU, Unforgettable, Louie, The International, Rubicon and in 2012, she will be seen in the independent films Nature Calls and Hairbrained. A native of the Lower East Side, she is a Princess Grace Award winner and has worked proudly as a teaching artist in New York City since 1998.
