Abiola Rufai-Awojide joined the BFI Network as a Coordinator, where she currently works to find and nurture emerging filmmaking talent. Prior to this, she worked in commissioning as Off-Screen Talent Coordinator for Channel 4 UK. Janina Anderson is from Wales in the UK. She caught the acting bug at the tender age of 9 and spent a happy childhood performing. Inspirational teachers quickly noticed her talent and throughout her younger years she enjoyed playing in wonderful productions including 'Annie', 'Gypsy', 'Oklahoma', 'Romeo & Juliet', 'Damn Yankees', 'Under Milk Wood 'and 'The Importance of Being Earnest'. It wasn't long before she was picked to be a part of HTV's Wales junior drama workshop, which provided a casting pool of talent for Television in Wales. Jan also appeared in Productions at the Sherman theatre in Cardiff for 5 years. Jan's talent and beauty was soon noticed and she was snapped up in her first series regular at the age of only 20, in the BBC's Prime Time drama 'Tiger Bay' playing wild child 'Jodie Marsh'. This head strong and fearless girl was much like Janina at that time and was a joy for her to play. Soon becoming a fan favorite, she starred in Miramax's infamous 'Human Traffic'. British actor Luing Andrews began his career as a probational stunt man in the UK and directly after training was offered his first feature film 'Called Home', daring Luing not only acted in this exciting film but also performed his own stunts including a cliff fall and car crash! Luing mainly acts nowadays but does participate in some stunts including in acting roles he achieves.
After being offered a place at the prestigious LAMDA and training at The ATS theatre school London 1989 & Passed a RADA summer pass with flying colours 1990 his love for acting grew and on graduation in 1993 Luing played roles such as Ash Williams alongside Amanda Burton in Silent Witness for UK television. Meredith Thomas spent her early childhood in Utqiagvik, Alaska, the northernmost settlement in North America where her parents taught Inuit grade school students through the Bureau of Natives Affairs. Later in her childhood, she moved to the Great Island of New Castle off the coast of New Hampshire. Meredith's first professional acting role as Tessie in "Annie" came while still in elementary school. During her audacious journey, Simona lived with Eskimos in Alaska, learned some warrior-techniques from Masai tribe in Kenya and eventually followed her creative dreams to London where she diligently honed her academic and dramatic skills at prestigious London institutions such as UCL and RADA.
Simona's natural talent lead her to star in terrific theatre productions like 'Much Ado About Nothing', 'As You Like It', 'Queen of Spades' amongst others. Naturally standing out from the crowd Simona was soon invited to play in prime-time Television shows and features like 'IT Crowd', 'Life Begins', the ever popular 'Footballers' Wives', the national favorite 'Bad Girls' and 'Casanova's Love Letters' as well as string of independent films and major international features such as Casino Royal, Gallowwalkers in which she excels as the villainous Kiss-Cut, and highly popular British action thriller Vendetta.
When not working, chasing outdoor thrills or cooking, Simona keeps herself grounded by meditating in the nature and animal rescue.
