Yves Prigent was born on 16 November 1928 in Nouméa. His father was a naval officer. Yves studied almost everywhere, especially in Morocco and Toulon... In the late 1940s, Yves entered a drama centre with the aim of learning film making. He also participated in theater tours in Morocco. He came to Paris in 1952 with the intention of making films there. He was first a press officer at Contact Organisation (1952-1953). He then joined P.A.C., André Hunebelle's production company, where he was assistant to production managers Pierre Foucaud and René Thévenet. Then, from 1956 to 1960, he was a location manager, sometimes assistant director, before leaving P.A.C. In 1960 he co-directed with Roger Ferret a beautiful short film, "Concerto de l'aube" In the early 1960s, he collaborated with Guy Lehérissey on a series of short films, "Le Sauvage", "Si tu viens en Périgord", "Le Fleuve et l'Océan". From 1960 to 1992 he was once again the general manager or production manager, sometimes the assistant director, of a long series of films.- Actor

Laurent Boiteux is an Actor who has a natural ability to captivate audiences and draw them into the stories he performs. He is raw, yet not without connection. He is genuine, yet not without engagement. And this year in 2024, he returns to the screen with his latest performance as "Dr. Morris", an emergency physician who has to put his family and himself at risk to help an old friend in "Sorrowland". The short is due to screen internationally, with dates and times to be released soon.
In the past, Boiteux has also appeared in the comedy horror ABC iView series "Nightwalkers" (2019), and an action-packed short film "Hunt For Hiroshi" (2016) to which is viewable online. He has also had years of training with The Actors Pulse and Sydney Theatre School, not to mention classes in between from the Sydney Screen Actors Group, Screenwise, The Actors Centre, and the National Institute of Dramatic Arts.
On top of that, Boiteux performs as one of Australia's top Childrens Entertainers and has been for nearly 10 years. He encourages confidence and fun with our future generations, stimulating their imagination as part of their growth and development.
