Kensaku's discovery is to be written into textbooks with the help of editor Rina Sakuma (Yasuko Matsuyuki). Rina becomes attracted to Kensaku as they spend time together. Meanwhile, the bone of a female student is discovered at an excavation site where Kensaku works. The female student went missing 13 years ago. Detective Taichi Yukinaga (Seiichi Tanabe), who worked on the case back then, resumes his investigation. A scholar visits Rina and tells her that Kensaku's discovery has been manipulated.
- Historical figures such as Nobunaga Oda, Napoleon and Joan of Arc, who met unfortunate end, travel through time to a modern restaurant called "Heaven's Door". Its gifted French chef Shinogu Sonoba struggles to fulfill their impossible orders and make them die in peace with his special meals.
- A young man named Kazama Gou on his search for his lost brother gets kidnapped by the crime syndicate, Crown who turn him into a genetically modified cyborg known as a Guyborg. He runs away from Crown and becomes the hero Guyferd, and uses martial arts to help people and stop the Guyborgs and evil creatures called Mutians that Crown sends after him.
