- The Prime Minister still has his eye on the horse he lost in the race to Aaron. So when Q leaves for a while, he sees his opportunity to get the horse.
- Anna and Christian are caught, after the children find out that Christian only left because he hadn't hidden his boat properly. But will Christian stay to help the children if they manage to free them?
- Mark is lured by Aaron into the dense forest, catching on that maybe Aaron isn't trying to help them. Meanwhile, David continues to plan the children's escape.

Miete discovers she is pregnant, but her husband Johannes appears to be more and more preoccupied with his secretary (and old flame) Tineke de Waal. Nicolaas Bonte is killed on his way home from Father Bonhomme, who has refused to bless his store.
- While surfing, Tony meets a lovely girl named Bess. Unbeknownst to Tony, his friendship with Bess puts him in danger, because the QUE is her legal guardian.
- Christian Dobler, a teacher, arrives on the island after the winds took him off course. He is found by the children, who shelter him from Q, but then Christian disappears.
- The children are told that the search party was called off because they were presumed dead, by a pilot who crashes his plane on the island - and he may not make it as he is badly injured.

Clever Nadir makes a fake Semtex bomb, which Omar 'forgets' in Amsterdam city hall, while Nadir anonymously calls in a fake alert. National coordinator Philip van Henegouwen decides however to pretend the army dismantled a real bomb and starts a terrorist hunt. Slick Dennis makes a joyride with his girl and grandmother, who wants to select a spot for her remains. The politician makes a great guest on the TV talk show, while their women cause fuzz about mundane private matters.
- Nadir was fired from the rest home after a food-fight. Omar isn't amused by a mock terrorist call to Jihad staged by Nadir as birthday e-mail, but celebrates with the family. An imam's lesson on peaceful jihad is interrupted by a firebomb thrown into the mosque. Dennis takes his Pauline to a new experience, emerged bathing, which goes badly, but to his delight the reason is pregnancy. The forgetful crone cancels the nurse and fatally messes up her husband's dialysis. Detective Hein finds the 'bomber bag' was allegedly sent to Paris for forensics but no report arrived and his best mate, whom he discovers did his adulterous wife three years, calls Paris a most unlikely partner. Hein listens to shopkeeper ex-coach's latest observations, a bit much for coincidence perhaps.
- Dennis is determined to become a perfect family father, so he proposes marriage and plans to earn a living with an original bicycles shop. Ileligible for a bank loan, he accepts dodgy courier work, but panics when a motor cop arrives and looses the package. Hein can't accept being kept in the dark even after a new bomb attack in Paris and an illegally acquired tip from coach, but is sidetracked. Tamara's lawyer father tells her 'for an assignment' how hypothetical fake bombers should proceed. The politician's disguise backfires when his grime artist is attacked by agitators from his extreme right party and she insists on a public complaint likely to result in a high-profile trial.

- The boy who thought he was good enough the way he was is a short poetical children's film about eleven year old Latif who is not quite who his father expects him to be. Latif is gifted with a great feeling for rhythm. Even everyday life and ordinary objects feed him with inspiration for new musical compositions; the sound of a falling knife, the ticking of a clock, the small talk at breakfast. Opposed to his concentration for making music, Latif has a hard time concentrating at school. His father doesn't understand the problems Latif has at school and thinks his son spends too many hours in his room, making music. When the tension between father and son increases, Latif flees in his music and finds himself in his fantasy world, where there is no time and space. Only the nature and his friend the camel, where he finds peace resting against its warm flank. As his results at school get worse his father's disappointment grows. A visit to a children's psychiatrist offers a solution; there are pills against Latif's concentration problems. But Latif doesn't want these pills. Isn't he good enough the way he is?
- The swaggering Petruchio agrees to marry the spitting hellcat, Katherine.
- The headmaster again is chasing up Aaron because of the amount of school he is missing. Jeremiah comes up with a plan with Tony to teach agriculture to an old widow who may be able to help them.
- In order to keep up the food supply, Anna, Mark, Jason, Su Ying and David go fishing. What they don't know is that there is a bad storm heading right for the island - but no one will believe Tony and Jeremiah.
- Berthe and Eduard Bennebroeck are dismayed to learn that some children have been asking questions about the medicine they requested at the drugstore. Wilbur and Aristide's fathers finally meet each other and Juultje tries to cheer up shy André. The investigating Q's find Van Slingelandt's car parked at the Hotel Schoon Runkum. But soon afterward Zaneck picks up the Citroën and has it demolished.
- Grandpa and Aristides' father Charles have found evidence that Zwartjes was hit on the head instead of having a mere accident. They also found a cigarette at the scene of the crime that turns out to be from a Sulleila packet. The three Q-kids try to recreate the circumstances of the fateful photograph when they are interrupted by Zaneck.
- During the garden party at the Quarles van Ispen house, Aristides and Wilbur borrow the Pies' walkie talkies and head over to Bennebroeck's old mill. However, Zaneck also aims to take advantage of the busy household and search for the ring in Aristides' room.
- Juultje learns from André that Bennebroeck is proficient at making tiny technical gadgets. For instance he helped André make a pair of walkie talkies for him and his father. Grandpa spots the man with the white raincoat who's been following him at the Runkum hotel.
- The plot begins to unravel as André and Juultje have figured out the purpose of the all important ring and the man in the white raincoat closes in on Alex Zaneck. Meanwhile, both the Q boys and Aristides father Charles find themselves unable to leave the Bennebroeck household.
- Van Slingelandt's parents come to Grandpa with their concerns for Anthony Jr. Aristides has been caught by Zaneck, who has also found the picture that started it all, if not the ring.

- Omar is afraid the police will find out he left behind the 'bomb' in city hall, hence too depressed to go out with Tamara. Cahoot Nadir is surprised to hear the increased security level caused his uncle (61) to be strip-searched in the airport, but he was released despite carrying an heirloom dagger and pistol. Dennis Koudstaal's latest stunt is sneaking into an abandoned villa to enjoy the hot tub naked with his girlfriend, but they actually find owner Thomas de Zwart in the master bedroom, OD'es. Hein van Vlijmen is disappointed that the anti-terrorism-coordinator job went to a colleague solely on PC grounds, so he's barely motivated to visit his former coach George, a grocer, who noticed activity and the exact bomb-type red sports bag in Nadir's home across the road. The xenophobic politcian attends a soccer match incognito, yet is scolded wiy his state security body guard for foolish risks.
- The Moroccan knaves' bitterness grows as the 'bomb' worsens anti-Muslim discrimination. Uncle Ibn Hassan preaches moral fortitude like Koranic Yusuf (=Biblical Joseph) and Omar finds comfort in Tamara's bed, but Nadir secretly consults a grim Jihadist website. Detective Hein neglects another warning from his ex-coach. Dennis's girlfriend Pauline gets away with staying by the cardiac patient, being mistaken for his daughter, and later tells Dennis she expects his baby. The old couple's forgetfulness is now a constant danger for everyone.
- After loosing his courier package, Dennis gets a terrible beating from Mike, who demands 30,000 Euros compensation in a week, way beyond his means. So he loses his patience learning fiancée Pauline talked to suicidal Klass, not him, and plans to have an adoption as he advised. However Klaas now leaves to commit a failed suicide attempt and bequeaths Pauline a painting likely to fetch more at an auction. To Nadir's father's fury, his uncle the imam seems to drag the knave away from Dutch integration to Muslim fundamentalism, while in fact he still manages to pass for his assignment. Omar follows Tamara's father's advice by attempting to make a replica of Nadir's fake bomb to send to the authorities. Shopkeeper 'coach' George follows Nadir and the imam, now both in traditional robes, informing detective Hein, who suspects foul play inside the Dutch state security. Politician De Zwart apologizes for his collaborator's bribery attempt and promises to testify against the racist attackers.
