- After the passing away of his dad, Javed lives a poor lifestyle with his widowed mom in India. Since they cannot afford to live independently, they live with his mom's younger sister, Mrs. Haque, who lives a wealthy lifestyle with her husband and son, Sajjad. Mrs. Haque is very cruel toward her sister, compelling her to leave and bring Javed up on her own. Years later Javed has grown up, has acquired a sound education, returns home, to find that his mom is learning to read and write with the help of a beautiful young woman, Nazparvar, and soon both the youngsters fall in love with each other. Javed's mom approaches Nazparvar's dad to get them married, but at the same time her sister, who is now widowed, convinces Nazparvar's dad that Sajjad would be a better choice for his daughter, as a result the marriage takes place leaving both Javed and Nazparvar heartbroken, and they go separate ways. Years later they will meet again - this time Javed will be a lawyer - while Nazparvar, who is now a mother of a young son, Riaz, will be accused of killing her husband!
- Kaalu lives a poor lifestyle with his widowed mom, an unmarried school-going sister, Sona, and a younger brother, Birju. Kaalu makes a living driving a horse-carriage (tonga), and the family lives a hand to mouth existence. Most of Kaalu's earnings are spent on medications for his ailing mother, and fees & books for Sona and Birju. His mother decides to lend a hand, does some work at a construction site, and tragically passes away. Sona completes her education and falls in love with a wealthy young man named Raju. When Kaalu finds out, he goes to Raju's dad, who is none other than Kaalu's employer, who refuses to accept Sona as his daughter-in-law, but subsequently changes his mind, apologizes to Kaalu and both decide on an early marriage. While Kaalu is grateful that Sona's future in-laws are not taking any dowry, he decides to marry off his only sister in style and give a big party. The question remains - where will Kaalu get the money to host this reception?
- Kumar lives a poor lifestyle in a village in India along with his mom, dad, Badri, and a younger brother, Arun. Kumar studies in Bombay, and is in love with wealthy Prabha, whose dad approves of him, and is even willing to loan him money to go abroad for further studies. But before the marriage could take place, Badri passes away, and as a result Kumar returns to the village so that Arun can go to Bombay, study, and make a better life for the entire family, leaving behind a heartbroken Prabha. Years later Kumar and Prabha are fated to meet again. This time Prabha will be a married woman - married to Bombay's Public Prosecutor, Mathur - who is prosecuting Kumar for using a gun to kill a woman named Kalpana!!

Gopal does manages to find a lead in this case and work together with the help of Amarnath's sister, Kamla in locating some incriminating photographs that clearly shows a car registration number. He meets and fall in love with Sunita who then introduces him to her dad, Damodar. Gopal also find out that Damodar is a mere pawn in the hands of the same criminals he is looking for and must continue his investigation to reach the mastermind.
- Mohini Saxena is the only child in the Saxena household, which consists of her Professor dad, Kishanlal, and bed-ridden, ailing mom. She is a medical student, quite free-willed, and friendly with everyone, including young men. And it is for this reason that she has a fainting spell, which when diagnosed results in a pregnancy. Kishanlal is devastated, all the more when his wife finds out and dies suddenly. Alone, and with a pregnant daughter, who is expelled from college, Kishanlal attempts to find out who the father is, for Mohini has decided not to reveal the name of the father. Is he their neighbor's son, Bipin Bose with whom Mohini was quite friendly with? Or is he, Ravi Kumar Mehra, the son of wealthy Amarchand Mehra, Kishanlal's business partner, with whom Mohini spent quite a few romantic moments? or is it some other young man that Mohini has been seeing on the sly. Watch what transpires as the hapless Kishanlal attempts to plead with Mehras and Boses' in an attempt to ensure a better future for his now black-listed, visibly pregnant, daughter.
- Mamta lives a poor lifestyle with her husband, Dinu, and two sons, Mohan, and Sohan. When Ram Lal, the wealthy Zamindar, Kanta Prasad Gupta's Munim, comes to them to take Sohan to Mrs. Sharda Gupta for ten days, they reluctantly permit him to do so. After 10 days, Gupta himself approaches them and begs them to let his wife keep Sohan for life. They tearfully agree. Then Mohan gets into trouble, and Dinu scolds him, only to find out that Mohan has run away from home. A search proves futile, and the couple continue to live a childless life. Now 17 years later, Mamta is seriously ill, and asks Dinu to bring Sohan back. Dinu goes to the Zamindar's house where he meets a young man who identifies himself as the real son, Suraj, and informs him that Sohan has been asked to leave. A devastated Dinu loses his memory and roams listlessly on the streets of Calcutta, unable to remember anything. The question is will Dinu and Mamta be united with their sons during their respective lifetime, and what has become of Mohan, and who exactly is Suraj?
- Ashok and Kishore (Shammi Kapoor and Sanjeev Kumar respectively) are two room-mates, living in a hostel. While Ashok takes to crime and dishonesty, Kishore is honest to a fault. When Kishore finds that his dad (Rajan Mehra) has been taking bribes, he leaves home angrily. Ashok and he disagree on a number of issues, mainly involving honesty, and both agree to meet each other after a period of three years, and see what life has had an effect for them. Kishore gets into bad company inadvertently, and is unable to free himself, and gets deeper and deeper into crime. While Ashok realizes it is not worthwhile to pursue a criminal career, and becomes a police inspector. Kishore is now known as the notorious Baghi Sitara, and Ashok is assigned the task of apprehending him. The two do not know who the other is. Kishore comes to know of this assignment and his men kidnap Ashok, but Ashok manages to escape. Kishore must kill Ashok in order to carry out his nefarious activities. After three years the two have an emotional meeting, delighted to see other. What will be the outcome when they come to know that they each other's mortal enemies?
- Amar (Rajesh Khanna) and Prem (Prem Chopra) are college buddies, while Asha (Babita) and Shobana (Nazma) become friends. Marriages are arranged; there is a hitch. Dowry is demanded. In Prem's case his older brother, who had resolved never to ask for dowry, is constrained to do so to enable Prem to buy his air ticket to the US for higher studies. Ramprasad, Asha's dad fails to show up for the wedding with the agreed sum, and the wedding is canceled, at the last minute. The amazing thing is that Asha's betrothed never has seen or met Asha, only his parents had. Obedient son that he is, he allows his dad to dictate his actions, and trusts his parents have made the right decision. Prem on his return from the USA has changed for the worse; he takes to drinking, rejects his wife and becomes an office predator, stalking his secretary. She is in love with Amar, but needs the job to help pay off a debt incurred when her father went missing, together with the payroll money he had withdrawn from the bank on behalf of his employer. Asha gamely puts up with the workplace harassment, with a hidden agenda of setting things right for Shobana's marriage. An elaborate charade ensues to teach Prem a lesson in humiliation. When he fails in seduction, is abduction the only option?
- Raj likes to gamble and place bets about virtually anything, including befriend an attractive woman, Pinky, and pretending to her brother, while carrying on his romance with his sweetheart, Sapna Singh. The second time Raj sees Pinky is in a coffin being carried to her grave, while he consoles her dad, someone shoots him dead, leaving Raj to take the blame. The third time he sees Pinky singing and dancing at a New Year's Party; the 4th time he sees her posing in a photograph with Sapna; and the 5th time he is introduced to a very much alive Pinky by Sapna, where she refuses to recognize him, and shortly thereafter she is found dead in Sapna's house; and the 6th time both Sapna and he find her lifeless body hanging from the ceiling. As this mystery deepens, the Police want to question Raj about the two deaths - while Raj himself keeps on getting deeper and deeper in a mystery that may well end up taking his very own life.
- Deepali is the only daughter of a wealthy but deceased industrialist, Lakhanpal. While on a holiday in Northern India, she meets with and gets friendly with Pritam. Unknown to her, Pritam has fallen head over heels in love with her, and wants to marry her. After Deepali returns home, Pritam follows her, meets with her maternal uncle, Choudhary, and creates a very good impression of himself. As a result, Choudhary is convinced that Pritam will make a good husband for Deepali. When Deepali finds out, she is enraged, as she has seen Pritam only as a friend, and her true love is another eligible young man by the name of Ajit, who Deepali has decided to make her life-partner, regardless of any and all consequences.
- Gopal is a gold-medalist race-car driver. One day while driving, he witnesses a girl screaming for help atop an under-construction building, he charges up the stairs, gets into a scuffle with two her two assailants, beats them up, and upon seeing that the girl has fled, he leaves. Shortly thereafter, he is arrested by the Police for killing one of the men. Gopal claims his innocence, but the Police state that they have evidence, his gold medal, which was found next to the dead body. While being transported to jail, Gopal manages to escape, and is aided by a truck driver, Ganga Singh, and his sister, Manju. Eventually both Manju and Gopal fall in love with each other while on the run from both the police and a powerful goon named Gangaram, who wants Gopal dead at any and costs. Gopal encounters an assortment of characters, and finds out he cannot really trust anyone as no one is who they claim to be.
- Raja Sahib is a pious and good-hearted man. After the death of his wife he sent his only son Gopal to England for higher education and himself got married. His young wife handed over the management of the lands to her brother Vijay Bahadur, leaving him helpless in these matter. Vijay Bahadur is a terror to helpless farmers. when Paro comes to stay in that village, she decides to raise her voice against this terror and take a deputation to Raja Sahib in the city.Gopal returns with new ideas about farming wanting to make his father's jagir an example of prosperity, where the tenants and the landlords live in peace and harmony. When Paro comes to the city with the farmers, Gopal is shocked to hear the tale of their misery and plight. When he interferes his stepmother opposes him. He disappears from home and disguise himself as Garibdas to make his dream alive. He mixes up with the farmers and lives with them. Vijay Bahadur sets fire to the crops ready for harvest and not a single grain is left for the villagers. Gopal when knows the truth he wants to expose Vijay Bahadur, but before he can do so, Vijay Bahadur manages to get him murdered by Garibdas. Garibdas is produced in the court where it is revealed by that Garibdas and Gopal are in fact two faces of the same person.
- Kedarnath is employed with a local clock/watch repair shop, owned by a parsimonious Adarshan Lala. Kedarnath goes out of his way to help a destitute woman, Maya, who husband is missing, with two daughters, Veena and Vidya. Kedarnath rents a room with them, writes letters to her on behalf of her husband, Pannalal, and even arranges the marriage of Veena with the son of Daulatram. When Maya tells him that she has no money to pay for the marriage expenses, he steals cash from his employer, and tells Maya that the money is from Pannalal. And all along telling Maya that he is a close friend of Pannalal, even though he has never met Pannalal, leave alone know him, making one think as to what devious secret Kedarnath is hiding, and what is the reason behind Pannalal's disappearance.
- Orphaned Raju, in the company of four elephants, has to perform with them at street corners, in order to keep alive. Slowly he amasses a fortune, and is able to build his own private zoo, housing tigers, lions, bears, and of course the four elephants. He treats all the animals as his friends. He meets with Tanu, and both fall in love. Tanu's dad, Ratanlal, is opposed to this alliance, but subsequently relents, and permits the young couple to get married. Tanu is unhappy with the amount of time Raju spends with his animal friends, and this causes some bitterness between them. Things do not improve when a child is born, as Tanu fears that one day the child will be harmed by one of the animals, and hence Raju is told to make a choice between his animal friends or his wife and son.
- Lalita lives with her widowed mother in a small village in India. One day while traveling by road, she is stranded, and a young man named Raja Babu comes to her assistance. Both fall in love with each other. When she informs her mother about her love for Raja, she is met with strong opposition, as her mother knows that Raja Babu is already married and has a son. She also reminds Lalita about her marriage with Diwan. When Lalita meets with Raja, he admits to her that he is not Raja but his real name is Rajan Ram Bahadur, but refuses to divulge any other information to her. She decides that she will have nothing to do with him. The mystery deepens when Pran Bahadur, the step-brother of Raja Babu returns and wants to confront the young man who has taken over Raja's identity, with results that will change the lives of everyone around them forever.

- A totally non glamorous movie. Both Rehana and Radha look cute and simple in chiffon saris with bare make up . Tall , good looking slim Anili is the perfect rich man romantic hero material . Its obvious that hes a left hander . A destitute , Rehana comes to work with Madan Puri as the governess of his 3 kids . Sarika looks cute as one of his kids. Very soon the kids start liking her . Anil and Madan Puri are equal partners in an architect firm and live in a palatial bungalow . Rehana soon gets involved in her homely duties and starts liking Anil after some innocent teasing and bantering . He, in turn likes Radha who is his college mate. Rehana sacrifices her feelings when both Anil and Radha get married. Once Radha comes to live with them, as shes very close friends with Rehana , she gets to know about her Friend's feelings for her husband .Felling guilty she feigns some accident and starts using a wheel chair, starts squabbling with Anil to distance herself from him. Meanwhile Rehana starts writing a serial in the local magazine mirroring her own life which becomes very famous . A lot of misunderstandings take place between Anil , Radha and Rehana finally Rehana decides to leave house and stays with Kamini kaushal ( in her small glam role as the mag editor) . Its time for her to end her novel. Upon the ill advice of Mehmood ( Anil's friend ) that all great romances have at least one death like Laila Majnu or Romeo Juliet , she decides to end her life and also give the same logic to her character in her novel. By the time they realize this , its too late and she dies in the end . A very sad and poignant ending . Kamini Kushal looks regal in her silks and sun glasses as the magazine editor . The parallel story between Dhumal and Mehmood invokes many laughs .
- Biology Professor Laxmi, in the company of nine of her students, and a convent nun, Sophia, go on a field trip in Kerala, Southern India. Upon arrival, they decide to stay there at a Public Rooming House, which also happens to house another group of students, this time all male, headed by Retired Colonel M.K. Das. After several misunderstandings both the groups compromise and decide to pass the rest of their temporary stay in peace. But fate has other plans for them, for Sophia is killed, apparently murdered by a zombie-like creature, dressed in black, who lives in a nearby grave-yard. Before the police and the others could react, a male student is killed. Three male students do encounter this creature, but it manages to over-power all three, and no amount of force or bullets can stop it. It's main motive seems to kill anyone who stands in it's way, including the police!
- Circa British rule in India, wealthy DIG of Police is approached by Devdutt, a poor freedom fighter, who would like his daughter, Janki, to get married to the DIG's son, Ratan. The DIG and his wife Rajlaxmi refuse to have to do anything with Devdutt, but Ratan refuses to marry anyone else. They eventually relent and agree to this marriage. Shortly after the marriage, riots ensue between the police and freedom fighters, and as a result the DIG is killed. Rajlaxmi blames Devdutt for his death, and asks a pregnant Janki to leave her house. Unable to stand up for his wife, Ratan remains a silent spectator while his wife is thrown out. Janki goes to live with her father, who eventually passes away, and it is then Janki gives birth to a son, Rajesh. Years later, Rajesh has grown up, drives a truck, and is in love with a local shop-keeper, Chanda, who he would like to marry. Janki would like her son to go and meet his dad, and when Rajesh does so, Rajlaxmi arranges a pompous welcome for him with open arms, hoping that he will leave his mother and stay on with her. But Rajesh refuses to do this unless Rajlaxmi apologizes to Janki. An enraged Rajlaxmi refuses to do so, and asks Rajesh to leave. Rajesh and Chanda get married, and soon Chanda gets pregnant. Then the police arrest Rajesh, for which he may face several years in prison. He is held in the local police station. The truth does prevail, the real culprit is caught, and Rajesh is let go. He returns home to find out that everything is not the same anymore. Chanda has given birth a baby boy, and now lives with Rajlaxmi, and refuses to return home. Rajesh must now find out what compelled Chanda to leave Janki and go to live with Rajlaxmi.
- Vijay has been assigned the task of building a bridge in a small community, that will link China with India. Vijay finds out that the task is an uphill one, as people living on both sides do not get along with the other, and will do nothing to assist. However, Vijay persists, and is able to convince villagers on the Indian side about the benefits of this bridge. As for the people on the Chinese story, is another story altogether, as they are ruled by a cruel and self-serving emperor, Deng Do Rani, who sends armed men and women to resist any effort to build this bridge. A group of these men, and a woman named Soo Reni are captured and held for questioning. Vijay and Soo Reni fall in love, and Soo Reni decides to assist Vijay in his task. It is then she realizes that she has alienated herself from her very own people, who have now been issued orders to kill her on one hand, and is regarded with distrust and suspicion by the people on the Indian side on the other. This movie contains a once popular song "Mera naam aao, mere pas aao, tera naam aao toh mera naam jaoh, o tera mera milan bada mushkeel hai...", which has been edited and "Mera naam aao" has been removed.
- Sunil Mehta gets stuck in a giant ferris wheel with an attractive young woman all night due to power failure. He arrives home the next day, and meets a very suspicious wife, Geeta, who knows that he has been up to no good. She refuses to believe his story about the stalled ferris wheel, and he invents a story about spending the night with a fictitious friend named Champak Boomia. Geeta does not believe that he ever has a friend by that name, and decides to write to him to come and visit her. Sunil then convinces his friend, Amit Desai, to pretend that he is Champak, and thus convince Geeta that he was indeed telling the truth. Amit agrees to do so, and everything goes according to plan - until a real and amorous Champak Boomia shows up - resulting in hilarious chaos.
- A ruthless gangster worms his way into the affections of a timber merchant. Using lies, deceit and murder he plots to usurp the place of the merchant's son, steal his inheritance and his girl.
- Anu joins the Criminal Investigations Division of the Indian Police when her father is killed, and her mother is brutally assaulted by a woman named Sonu. She meets a wealthy male named Saajan, who she is attracted to, and who also finds her interesting, but at the same time is seeing another woman. Anu does not know that Saajan leads a double life. Anu finds out that it was one Bhawani Singh who had killed her father, and she does come across such an individual, and takes him home for her mother to identify. But her mother does not identify him, instead chastises Anu for wasting their time. Then their world is turned upside down when Anu's mom is abducted by Bhawani and Sonu, the very woman who had assaulted her, and this time she and Bhawani will ensure that she does not live to tell the tale.
- Kalyani lives in a small tenement with three sons, Vijay, Nandu, and Bhola, all of whom are unemployed, slackers and trouble-makers. One day Nandu gets into serious trouble with Shantilal, who summons the police, and has him arrested. Kalyani goes to the Police Station to plead with the In-Charge Officer to release Nandu, to no avail. She then goes to Shantilal to try to persuade him to withdraw the charges, also to no avail. Finally, she approaches Jagannath and tells him that Nandu is actually his biological son. After listening to her story, Jagannath believes her and accompanies her to the Police Station to bail Nandu out. The next day Jagannath comes to take Nandu to live with him in his palatial bungalow, and Deviyani, Vijay and Bhola bid him a tearful farewell. After settling down in his new surroundings, Nandu starts getting arrogant, and selfish, especially toward Vijay. Vijay and he break into fisticuffs, and Nandu warns Vijay not to set foot in his house. When Jagannath finds out, he tries to get Nandu to change his arrogant ways, to no avail. On the contrary Nandu threatens to kill him if he ever speaks in that tone of voice with him. The next night, Jaganath is shot dead. The police begin questioning everyone involved, and the obvious suspect is Nandu. It is then Deviyani tells Vijay and Bhola that Nandu is not really Jagannath's son, but her very own flesh and blood. Both Vijay and Bhola's world will never be the same after Deviyani tells them who the real son of Jaganath is, and who may have responsible for killing Jagannath.
- Wealthy, powerful and influential Seth Dharamdas leads a financially secure life in a palatial mansion. He is known to come to the aid of all people who are beyond any hope of assistance, and this leads to him being known as "Dharmatma". But Seth Dharamdas does have a number of skeletons in his closet, and a parallel life as a gangster. The only person Dharamdas hates and fears is none other than his very own son, Ranbir, who has sworn that he will never compromise with his father's dark career, and threatens to expose him. Dharamdas has never conceded surrender or defeat at the hands of any mortal, and will never even consider to do so - even if this means the death of Ranbir. Songs include "Tere cheherey mein woh jadoo hai..."; "Tum ne kisise kabhi pyar kiya hai, pyar bhara dil kisiko diya hai...".
- After losing his two younger brothers on a mountain climbing expedition, Vijay (Sunil Dutt) swears to his sorrowing mother (Achala Sachdev) that he will never undertake any expedition again. When he hears of a plane crash deep in the mountains of the Himalays, he initially refuses to even consider going there to look for the survivors, but the tears of a mother, Geeta (Nandita Thakur), whose two children were abroad that plane, moves him and his mother, and he agrees to look for the children, little knowing that others are on the way to the crash site, with different motives.
- Haridwar-based Neelkanth Pandey and Shambhu Nath get their children, Bhagwantiprasad and Parvati respectively, married. Whille Shambhu re-locates to live in Bombay, Neelkanth continues to reside in the same residence. Years later both children have grown up, so Neelkanth invites the Naths to finalize the nuptials. Very soon the Pandeys will face humiliation and ridicule at the hands of Parvati, who now calls herself Pamela, and Shambhu, who wants his daughter to marry someone sophisticated and wealthy, while Parvati is in love with a singer named Rocky. Bhagwanti is determined to fulfill his parents' wishes and decides to stay wed to Parvati, re-locates to Bombay, to try and woo her back - with results that will end up changing his life forever.
- Two bumbling, middle-aged private detectives, Dharamchand and Karamchand, are assigned to locate the missing daughter, Asha, of a multi-millionaire. Their adventures take them to a gangster named Prem Chopra and a criminal don named Motilal Sippy. With a lot of skill, action, and fights, they do rescue the girl in their captivity, and bring her to her dad. It is then that they find out that the real Asha is already back home safe and sound, and they had rescued the wrong girl. But now it is too late, as the underworld and it's men are out to get them.
- Geeta and Anil meet, gets acquainted with each other only to fall in love; they then get married but on their wedding night Anil is killed by bandits leaving a devastated Geeta who goes unconscious for a period of 4 days after which she loses her mental balance and is confined in a mental asylum. Several years later she does manage to recover, is discharged and enter into the real world only to find that Anil is still alive, now calls himself Ravi Kapoor and is in love with a young woman named Asha. The discovery of Anil triggers Geeta and she decides to make Ravi her own; eventually she gets out of hand and is re-confined in the mental asylum. A few days later she manages to escape, enters the couple's house and when Ravi is away she decides that she will settle scores once and for all with Asha - the one she believes is out to claim her husband.
- Mala comes from a wealthy family and lives in a palatial house with her dad, a businessman, mother a housewife, and a younger brother. She falls in love with a middle-classed man named Sajjan and wants to marry him, but her father refuses to permit her to do so. She adamantly leaves his house, marries Sajjan and goes to live with his family, consisting of his mother; father, Dinanath, & younger brother, Vijay. The family soon learns to love, respect, and trust her, and she soon runs the entire household. She soon gives birth to a daughter and a son. Vijay completes his education, but is inclined to get involved in get rich quick schemes, and ends up earning a lot of money in a short period of time. When the rest of the family find out that he has obtained this money through smuggling, they ask him to leave the house, which he does and goes to live with a woman named Ruhi, a cabaret dancer. Thereafter the household's base collapses as Mala's daughter is killed in an accident; her son falls in bad company and starts gambling and stealing; her husband is arrested for embezzlement and theft; while her father-in-law loses his job. Now Mala can only turn to her Vijay and her father for help - but will they be willing to assist her after all that has happened?
- Randhir and Ranvir Verma are twins. Randhir is straightforward, while Ranvir is a petty criminal. These petty thefts add up, and soon the police arrest Ranvir, and he is sentenced to prison. In prison, Ranvir incurs the wrath of a gangster, Tony, and is killed. Randhir undertakes to find the killer, and gets himself arrested, and imprisoned to get to see who the killer is. After getting out from prison, Randhir plans to avenge his brother's death, without knowing that he himself could endanger his very life, as well the life of his girlfriend, Mala. The song "Chandni chand se hoti hai, sitaron se nahin, pyar bhi ek se hota hai hazaron se nahin..." is still popular.
- Ram and Sita Singh have been married for several years and have two children, a son and daughter, named Bhola and Munni respectively. With the exception of tiny Munni, the entire family has to work as construction laborers in order to survive. They would like Bhola and Munni to go to school, study, and lead better lives, but the school principal demands a donation of Rs.500/- which they cannot afford. - Radha lives a poor lifestyle in a small town in India along with her brother, Shankar, who is a Hindu Priest (Pandit), and makes a living driving a truck. Shankar has a close friend in Sher Khan (Pathaan), who they treat as their brother. Both men are honest and assist the Police in apprehending stolen items and drugs much to the chagrin of underworld madam, Salma, and her henchmen Birju and Ramzan. They tamper with Shankar's truck, leading to an accident in which he loses his left leg, placing the trio in even more financial hardship. Their woes worsen when Sher is attacked, loses a lot of blood, and is hospitalized. Sher eventually survives with Shankar's assistance. Not satisfied with this outcome, Salma and her men now concoct a devious plan to do away with both Shankar and Sher once and for all.

Ram subsequently finds out that Chitralekha had lost her lover in a previous life, and has taken form in this life to kill him so that they can be together forever. Shortly thereafter Ram is killed in an car accident. The police are unable to identify his body as it is burnt beyond recognition. It is after Ram's death that the truth surfaces. But will this truth benefit Ram and Chitralekha?

A shaken Vijay confides in Aarti and both reluctantly agree to rob the bank. The robbery takes place successfully, but Aarti is sure that the police suspect her, and she is worried. Amarnath then asks Vijay to kill Aarti so as to get rid of an unnecessary witness. The question is will Vijay agree to kill his wife, or will he let himself be arrested for murder? Mohan and Shanker operate a crime syndicate, partnering with Keshavlal, a notorious gangster. Ajay operates a publicatin called Karmayogi, in which he publishes news and information about crime and criminals, and does an expose on Keshavlal. Mohan and Shanker want a bigger stake in the share, which Keshav agrees to, but arranges for Shanker to get killed, and blames it on Ajay. When Shanker is killed, Mohan swears to avenge his father's death and begins the trek of locating and killing Ajay.
- Learned Hindu Priest, Mahant, is abducted by notorious bandit Bhairo Singh, held captive and tortured until he reveals the secret of a treasure buried near his temple. When she confronts him, he admits knowing and meeting his mistress, and openly declares his love for her, leaving Kunti humiliated and downcast. Kunti then decides to meet Moon Moon and it is during this meeting she will find out the stark truth behind Avinash's affair with her.
