- Jhansi-based Reshma Singh lives a middle-class lifestyle in India with her widowed mom, Sharda, and two brothers, Rajesh and Amar, who is a Police Inspector. She gets into a tiff with them, resulting in the brutal death of Rajesh. She decides to avenge this death, and ends up killing one of his assailants, Badal Singh, but before she could kill the rest, she is stopped by Police Inspector Janardhan, who disarms her, then stands by while Gajraj and his men sexually assault her. Thereafter she is arrested,lodged in a cell, then taken to Court, where she is subsequently found guilty and sentenced to be hanged. Before the sentence could be carried out, she escapes from prison, is found unconscious by bandits, and taken to their hideout and their leader, Sardar Sultan Singh. After Sultan hears Reshma's story he decides to assist her in seeking vengeance against Gajraj, and trains her to use firearms and ride horses. She then succeeds in killing Damodar, Sher Singh, and Goverdhan Lala. Then the authorities ask Amar to take charge, resulting in Amar's entrapping Sultan and killing him. Now in order to complete her vengeance, Reshma must first face off with her brother, who is determined to stop her at any and all costs.

In the background, TV news-reporter Aparna Sen takes care of the local mood and scenario, in a region that could easily erupt in violence, led by separatists and terrorists, who will stop at nothing to disrupt this "Goodwill Match".

The only way she can do this is by becoming a bandit herself, and making herself a target - not only by the corrupt police force, but by bandit gang-leader Shaitan Singh, who owes allegiance to Dhurjan; another bandit gang-leader, Hasina; as well as Dhurjan and his men.

Although Akash envies Jahaan, he decides he doesn't want to strip before any more women. When Akash's dad (Kiran Kumar) invites Jahaan to dinner, Jahaan gets the surprise of his life when Sharon is there and he finds out who she really is.
- After the traumatic death of his brother, Inspector Ritesh finds that his niece has suffered a trauma and is unable to speak, while his widowed mother and sister-in-law are devastated by his sudden death. Then while apprehending some goons he finds himself surrounded by them and there is no way of calling for help. It is then a man named Marshal shows up and rescues him. Miraculously his niece also starts to speak. Ritesh finds this a good omen for his family and asks Marshal to stay on in their house, and even proposes that he marry his sister-in-law. What Ritesh does not know is that Marshal is a hired assassin and hit-man, and his next target is none other than Ritesh himself.

Alarmed at these actions, the Home Minister meets with the Indian Army Major, and together they decide to reinstate dishonorably discharged Arjun Singh Toofan back into the army and assign him with the task of apprehending the terrorists who are now led by Masood, Noor, Sultan Baluchi, and Colonel Gaddafi. Arjun apprehends Masood, but not for long, as his gang abducts a bus-load of passengers and hold them hostage until Masood's release. A dithering army major, whose daughter is amongst the hostages, releases Masood, and suspends Arjun for disobeying orders. Enraged with the Indian army and it's tactics, Arjun turns renegade and decides to join the terrorists. Masood would like to welcome him with open arms, but first Arjun must prove his worth - he must kill an important person in the Indian Government to qualify. The question remains - who is the one that Arjun must kill?

Then tragedy strikes when a patient, who was being treated by Anand dies, and the cause of death was that the patient was induced with a spurious drug. Anand faces a public inquiry, and with the evidence stacked against him, he may lose his job, and never be able to marry Seema.

- Gangster Kaalkeshwar Singh is insecure about the way other people behave towards his wife, Monica as he is fully well aware that she does not love him and that he forcefully get married to her. This insecurity forced him to murder a man in a party for congratulating Monica; when Kaalkeshwar's life is at the mercy of another gangster, Albert his life is saved at the intervention of Arjun who instead killed Albert in the process. Kaalkeshwar then gets to find out how Albert had raped Arjun's beloved, Maria which forces her to commit suicide thus Arjun had avenge this carnage by killing Albert. Kaalkeshwar then permit Arjun to take up lodging at his estate which is located in the country area there Arjun is introduced to Monica and eventually both fell in love and started to have an affair. When Kaalkeshwar gets to find out about this he instructs his men to seriously beat up Arjun which is carried out successfully but Arjun manages to survive and return to rescue his lover, Monica as well as demand revenge by killing Kaalkeshwar.

Then Mr. Dharampal gets a visit from the Police - who claim that Vijay is on the run after killing a woman named Nisha Sahay, who is the wife of Avinash, and a close friend of Shobha. The question remains did Vijay really kill Nisha, and if so, what was his motive?

What Mrs. Purohit does not know is that Myna is a prostitute, hired by Raj, to play the role of his wife until his mom passes away, leaving the entire estate to him; neither does she know that Renu is lured to become a prostitute herself by a half-brother of Myna. It looks like Raj has succeeded in creating an early death for his mom, who may not survive this dual shock of her daughter and daughter-in-law being prostitutes.
- A wealthy man, Amarnath, witnesses a fight between two men, and watches one kill the other. He comes to the assistant of the killer, Vijay Kumar, assists him so that he can re-establish himself, as well as disposes off the body. Then Amarnath asks Vijay to seek Aarti's cooperation in looting the bank where she works or else he will expose his crime to the police. A shaken Vijay confides in Aarti and both reluctantly agree to rob the bank. The robbery takes place successfully, but Aarti is sure that the police suspect her, and she is worried. Amarnath then asks Vijay to kill Aarti so as to get rid of an unnecessary witness. The question is will Vijay agree to kill his wife, or will he let himself be arrested for murder? The title song "Dil se miley dil..." and "Yeh naina yeh kajal, yeh julfey yeh aanchal, khubsoorat si ho tum ghazal...." continue to be very popular.
- Shruti [child artiste Hansika Motwani] is the 10-year-old daughter of Shrikant [Sanjay Kapoor] and Shraddha [Raveena Tandon]. She travels to her school by the local train every morning. One day, she accidentally gets locked up in her school and by the time she catches a train to go home, it is already midnight. Three young drug addicts also board the train and seeing her alone, they rape her in front of three passengers who seem afraid and helpless to come to her aid. The case is handed over to Kripa Shankar Thakur [Manoj Bajpai], an upright and honest cop from the Crime Branch. From here starts an unusual legal battle between the honest and the corrupt.

Ram goes to meet with Ayesha's dad, Jwala Prasad, and when he does so, recognizes him as the man who killed one Navinkumar. Ram threatens to expose Jwala, and has him arrested. What Ram does not know that Jwala is just another alias for Jabbar - the man who had killed his son years ago - and now Jabbar is all set to kill Ram and the rest of his family as well.

Avantika is a poised, sophisticated, and intelligent young woman, and is not at all intimidated by Uday, and his persuasive methods. No previous information is available about Avantika, and her background cannot be verified. Then Uday comes to know that her mother was in an asylum for the insane, and when confronted Avantika loses her poise, and reveals a character that she may have been concealing from others, including herself.

Another woman customer named Reena offers to pay for the shoes, as she feels sorry for Mansi. Mansi reluctantly accepts Reena's offer to pay for the shoes, not realizing that Reena has paid for these shoes with a secret agenda that will take Mansi to a whole new world, and change her life forever.
- The story is about a single father (Sachin) who is overly protective of her daughter (Srishti Behl) and does not like the idea that his daughter will leave him after marriage and hence tries to create hurdles between his daughter and her prospective groom.
- Shobha Rana and her husband have been married for more than 15 years, are childless, and lead a very wealthy life-style. They spend most of their time helping people in need, and praying to Gods of all religion for a child. Their prayers are answered and Shobha gives birth to a baby girl who they name Neelu. She who grows up to be like her parents, never a tear in her eye, always helping the poor and the needy, albeit a little tomboyish, falls in love with her childhood sweetheart, Shekar, the adopted son of Juman, the Mali (Gardener). Rana is not pleased with this alliance, but Shobha convinces him, and he arranges their marriage. On the day of the marriage, Neelu collapses with intense pain in her forehead. She is diagnosed with a tumor in her eye, which is malignant, & cannot be operated upon. Dr. Dharamveer asks them to pray so that Neelu can pass away without much pain. The question remains as to how can parents perform such a drastic prayer - the death of their only child.
- Shanti belongs to a poor family, and lives in small dwelling with three sons, Amar, Ashok, and Vinod, and two daughters, Sheela and Shobha. She arranges the marriage of Ashok, and Shobha, and would also like to get Sheela married to a young man named Ram, but Ram's mom, Durga, wants a substantial dowry, namely one lac rupees, which the family cannot afford. So the youngest son, Amar, decides to go to Dubai in the Persian Gulf for a period of two years as Ashok refuses to help, and Vinod is badly in debt due to gambling. But when Shanti finds out, she asks Amar not to go abroad, but stay in India, even if it means canceling Sheela's marriage. How will this resolve Shanti's family's problems? Will Sheela ever get married?
