- In the inner computer world of Mainframe, a guardian program sprite and his friends defend the system from threats from viruses and the User.
- Bob and Dot fight to keep Megabyte from harnessing the power of an unusually large Tear. They barely succeed until a descending space fighter game harnesses it for him. Now Dot and Bob must defeat Megabyte inside the game.
- In an attempt to make himself smarter, Enzo inadvertently turns everyone in Mainframe into simple minded 8-bit dolts. Now he must turn them back to normal before their naive ways get them nullified in a Track and Field game.

- Cheetor disobeys a direct order from Optimus by leaving the Maximals base to place survey posts on the planet. A lightning bolt strikes one of the posts, creating a direct teleportation route between the Predicons' and Maximals' bases.
- When Cheetor messes up an important mission, he decides to fix it on his own. But when he is lured into Tarantulas's net of deceit and torture, Rattrap is the only one who can save him.
- A prank from Rattrap causes the Maximal ship to turn on its residents with its new defenses. Determined to fix his fault, Rattrap journeys into the malfunctioning ship to reboot the system.
- Optimus Primal is abducted by an otherwordly probe, leaving the Maximals leaderless. Amidst their bickering and squabbling, the Predacons prepare to launch an attack.
- Megatron becomes impressed with the Maximal Rhinox, capturing and reprogramming him into a Predacon. Unfortunately, an evil Rhinox ends up doing more harm than good within the Predacon ranks.
- Megatron introduces an evil clone of Dinobot, different than the original in that it can only stay in beast mode. With the real Dinobot incapacitated, the clone begins to run amok among the Maximals. When it comes down to Dinobot against Dinobot, which one will win?
- After being led into a trap and losing a stasis pod to the Predacons, Dinobot accuses Rattrap of working with the Predacons as the Maximal that led them there. To everyone's shock, Optimus agrees with this suspicion and sends Rattrap on a mission near Predacon base to test his loyalty. When Rattrap is beaten by Terrorsaur in battle, he surprises all by not only begging for mercy but swearing allegiance to the Predacons. Is Rattrap really a traitor?
- A stasis pod, containing the spark-soul of a robot, lands on Earth. Both Maximals and Predacons race against time to claim the spark as one of their own.
- Terrorsaur discovers a floating mountain, rich with the mineral Energon. With a surge in his power, he scraps Megatron and takes control over the Predacons. Now the Maximals must destroy the mountain to stop his power-mad reign.
- Tarantulas and Blackarachnia team up to obtain the newest stasis pod. The pod births Inferno, a deranged Predacon who believes himself to be an ant rather than a robot. While Blackarachnia works with Inferno, Tarantulas takes the true prize he wanted: the stasis pod. Maximal Tigatron manages to destroy the pod Tarantulas has taken, but finds himself trapped in Predacon grounds against the spiders and Inferno.
- The Maximals are elated to find that a Cybertron probe looking for their stranded ship has arrived. However, the Predacons don't wish for them to be found. Tarantulas introduces a locking lens, which can trap the Maximals in beast mode. This makes the Maximals unable to finish their beacon to contact the probe. Are the Maximals stranded for good?
- When a stasis pod falls to Earth, a race ensues between Maximals and Predacons to collect it. But when it is discovered to be damaged, the Maximals attempt to protect and defend it from a Predacon attack.
- In the aftermath of a Predacon attack, Tigatron comes upon a strange floating island, and settles down on it to lead a peaceful, content life. However, Blackarachnia and Scorponok are not far away.
- A skirmish occurs between Maximals and Predacons for control of a floating island: the Maximals for its use as a base, the Predacons for its destructive capabilities.
- An explosion at the Predacon base leaves no survivors, and the Maximals assume they have scored a final victory in the Beast Wars. However, Dinobot makes an investigation that changes everything.
