Holder learns from a patrolman that one of gangster Janek Kovarsky's men was caught trespassing on the waterfront construction site the night Rosie was killed. He was never charged after being vouched for by the construction manager. It all points to deeply rooted corruption in the Mayor's office.

Angel takes the warning to heart and realizes that she has an anger problem. Meanwhile, Laura tells Jayde that the others are mad at her for not sticking up for Angel in the fight with Jayde. However, later, while talking with Jayde and her friends, Laura excuses herself after hearing Jayde's constant criticism of Angel and realizing that Jayde was partly at fault for the photo shoot incident. Holly, Josh, Angel, and Laura meet at a restaurant, and all of them offer apologies to each other. Also, Josh's manager tells him that he will get to make a music video for his first single, and the investigators Josh hired to find his birth parents advise him to come to Charleston, South Carolina, because they have a major lead in the case.
- With the video from Rosie's phone, Linden and Holder think they have the killers. It's not that simple however and they soon find themselves back to square one. Linden re-interviews Rosie's BFF, Sterling, and learn that Rosie used to regularly take a bus to a distant part of town. Mayoralty candidate Darren Richmond's campaign is rapidly going downhill and his staff propose a major ad campaign. The only problem is that the campaign needs a infusion of cash. Rosie's parents prepare for her funeral and visit a funeral home to select a casket and go to the church to arrange for the service. Linden decides to again search Rosie's bedroom and finds handwritten notes notes from an interesting source.
