- Albert identifies their next mark, Kulvinder Samar, a businessman with a love of Bollywood movies. Their play is quite simple: convince him to invest in their Bollywood movie and even offer him a part in the film. Samar is arrogant and runs a sweatshop so as far as they are concerned, he's an ideal target. The con is just a little too perfect however and he's soon on to them. Fate intervenes in the form of a car accident resulting in Samar losing his short-term memory. The con artists decide to just run the con over again - a little less perfect this time - but Samar has undergone a serious personality change and is no longer the smug SOB they set out to get.
- Wheelchair-bound June Anderson is strangled in the villa she is renting with husband Doug and sister Janice. Though Janice is her beneficiary and has no alibi Poole suspects Doug, a former colleague whom he knows to be corrupt and an alcoholic. Cleaning woman Estelle admits to stealing June's jewels but the net widens when Janice sees one of the two men who own the rental company from which they hired the villa running from the murder scene. An arrest is soon made but Poole suspects that June's murder may be linked to one in England some while earlier and solves the case by proving the connection.
- A team comes to the island looking for the fabled treasure of the pirate Leclerc. Group leader Daniel Morgan is injured in an explosion and another member Ian parks shot dead in Daniel's tent. Poole believes Daniel was the intended victim,especially when he survives another 'accident'. However,learning that Parks seemingly found the treasure and marked it with grid reference PD46 on a map Poole wonders if Daniel killed him and faking the attempts on his life. He changes that view after Daniel is murdered but finds the motive for the double slayings had nothing to do with treasure but that PD 46 was another commodity worth killing for.

- As the island prepares for a hurricane the corpse of Leo Downs, a researcher at the university's meteorological unit is found. Though favoured by department head Professor King,other colleagues saw him as a sycophant and a nerd though Amber Collins,ex-girlfriend of Leo's room-mate Damon,was in love with him. Yet all the suspects have alibis according to the time codes on their clocks. Poole discovers that King is advising an oil company planning to drill on the island . Leo's notes are nowhere to be found and a Skype message to his mother shows he was planning something big. Was it big enough to get him killed? After the hurricane has passed Poole at last finds the evidence encoded in Leo's computer which leads him to the killer and their motive.

Johnny Keyes is now a successful London restaurant owner with a violent and nasty past. Keyes' son disappeared long ago and would give anything to find him and help him out in life. The plan is simple: have Danny impersonate the boy and tug on Keyes heart strings to the point where he will be just begging to give him money. When the plan falters, they go to their backup plan which proves to be a bit more successful.

Barman Eddie,normally one of life's unfortunates, finds himself on a roll as he takes on board Mickey's good luck while Mickey hits rock bottom.

They then go against their own better judgment and decide to try the same ruse on a caviar importer. Their scam is interrupted however when Yakubi's son shows up at Eddie's bar and demands revenge, saying he has to retrieve his father's honor. The crew aren't impressed until he reveals that he is holding Eddie hostage.
- Mickey Stone find himself being blackmailed by Victor Maher into helping him catch a bank robber. Maher has an old videotape of Danny Blue involved in a robbery and unless Mickey agrees to help, he will turn it over to the police. Maher spent his career in the fraud squad and is now head of security for Moores Bank. He knows that Sam Richards will soon try to rob the their main London Branch and want Mickey to get a member of his team in on the robbery. Albert Stroller, who has had dealings with Maher in the past, warns Mickey that the ex-cop is very good at what he does and that Mickey himself is as much the prize as Richards. Left on the sidelines, Danny and Stacie spend a good deal of time together with Danny starting to fall for her.

Suspects number Francis's teen-aged son Ryan, who argued with his father, club secretary Teresa Gower, who was embezzling funds, Francis's ex-mistress Inke and ex-military man Alan Burke, who left the group after a disagreement with Francis. Goodman must determine who is the killer whilst trying to fight his feelings for Camille.
- Café owner and petty crook Eugene Jones is found dead and JP's old school-mate, bad boy Cordell Thomas, who worked for him confesses that he killed him during a fight. Jack, however, is not convinced, drawing attention to a peanut clutched in the dead man's fist. Valuables stolen from ex-con Charlie Blake are found at Eugene's house whilst Eugene's sister Celeste also had a grievance with him. Despite a confession from one of the suspects the peanut proves to be the clue to solving the murder.

Poole defies Patterson whose priority is the arrest of a local illegal drinks ring to comfort Camille and catch the murderer. Dwayne and Fidel use spaced out waiter R.J. to help locate the booze supplier to no avail but Poole discovers a link between the drink smugglers and the murderer.

Fellow patient Jayne Smythe believes Valerie was having an affair with the younger Paul Vincent but Dr Jones admits she was sleeping with him,giving him an alibi. It turns out that Valerie had made an urgent call to a lawyer in France and Poole suspects she was about to sue the clinic for botched surgery caused by Tipping's failing eye sight. But events take another turn when the clinic is exposed as giving criminals new identities - and faces.

Posing as American businessmen Albert and Micky persuade him to buy into their consortium which is aiming to purchase London City Studios,the very building from which Ridley was sacked and which he is itching to bull-doze. The appearance of Ash's young godson Alfie,whom the grifters are minding,almost jeopardises the heist as Ridley steals back his money but the gang manage to retrieve it - apart from the wad to which Alfie helped himself.
- Chef Robert Holt is stabbed to death following the launch of his restaurant Le Calmar. His phone and money are missing but not an expensive watch and initially robbery is suspected. His partner Anouk, son Matt, sous chef Dexter and pastry chef Kim all claim to have been in their villa at the time and only his brother Gary, a bankrupt and ex-prisoner has no alibi. A street urchin picked up the phone which he says Robert dropped whilst arguing with Matt and indeed Matt, Dexter, Kim and Anouk all claim that the victim was a bully who controlled all their lives. To solve the murder and a possible conspiracy Goodman is much helped by footage illegally filmed by a customer on the opening night of the restaurant.
- 'Doctor' Dean Deville and his wife Dana are an American couple who have made millions selling sham health food products from their Eat Yourself Slender plan but their bogus diet pills induce a heart attack in the hustlers' friend,con woman Carol. The grifters play on the Devilles' weakness, buying art treasures to sell at a profit,by stealing for them a priceless Faberge egg but this is just for starters as the main hustle involves burgling a research lab to rob a supposedly genuine slimming cure . It is,of course,a placebo - and a trap. Barman Eddie however finds romance with Carol.
