- This DVD presentation is a partial documentation of the ritual interaction between devotees of Santeria and a select group of Orishas in Regla, Cuba. Each of the Orishas is associated with a particular force of nature and each has its own personality, its own rhythm and its own interests. Santeria is an Afro-Cuban religion that is flexible and eclectic. Through prayer, ritual actions and music, santeros (devotees of Santeria) seek to communicate with the divine and maintain the balance of these forces. The DVD is based on research conducted in Cuba in 2007.
