- Roy and Kelly prepare for their mortgage appointment. Emily tells Butch they can see each other if they're careful. Tricia almost catches Gavin and Stella together. ITV.
- At Charity's new bail hearing, she faints and it's discovered that she is pregnant. After another unsuccessful reconciliation attempt with Eric, Gloria heads back to London.
- It seems like Frances will be leaving very soon and she tries to reconcile with her son Paul. She gives him a card so that he can reach her but he just tears it apart. Ali agrees to move with his mother to Hull and Ronnie but only for her sake. Elaine is adamant to stay in Emmerdale but it proves to be difficult to find somewhere to stay. Daz has gotten Scott irritated and the latter gives Andy a hard time about it. It also appears that he haven't been managing his paper rounds properly. Those things aside, Daz steals Rodney's car and this time, the seller/businessman calls the police!
- This episode take place shortly after the previous one but on the same day though. Andy and Jack picks Daz up at the police station. They find out from PC Calburn that he had already been having a YOT officer before his latest car theft. The officer also informs them that Daz will have to go to court. Elaine and Robert splits up after she finally realizes how little he cares about her. Will she ever find out that he cheated on her with Katie though? Also, the bishop visits Ashley and asks him if he's willing to take on (or "tame") a curate who is thought of being "too idealistic".
- The inquest in to Luke's death returns a verdict of accidental death. Emma wins the design award. Zoe is attacked by Ken Adlington. Biff discovers Dave & Kim's affair.
- Daz gives away his game console to an ungrateful Debbie. Danny moves up in the business world and makes an arrangement with Rodney to get 15% of what they sell, instead of having a regular salary.
- Tricia tells Diane that she wants to return to her job behind the bar at the Woolpack. Bob persuades Viv to apologize to Chastity. Marlon thought Tricia would be loaded with money after having that lead role in the Bollywood movie but she informs him that she invested the money into another flick and how rich (or poor) they will be depends on how well it sells. Siobhan starts to talk to others about her father-in-law's secret way of life and Ronnie comes on to her again.
- While snooping on Ken Adlington's farm, Roy & Kelly get locked in a lorry transporting veal calves. Dillon starts fires and kills pigs to make the Dingles surrender Albert and the necklace.
- The police arrive at Home Farm to investigate James' disappearance. The whole village begin searching for James. Steve encourages Kim to tell the police about the blackmailer. ITV.
- Marlon is blackmailed by Charity for cash so that she can pay for a lawyer. Paul and Ronnie fall out over Siobhan.
- After being blackmailed for cash by Charity in the previous episode, Marlon resorts to borrowing from the Dingle family pot without asking but he doesn't manage to replace the money before it's noticed missing. Paul decides to buy Victoria Cottage but intends on living there on his own and wants Siobhan to move out. We find out that Aaron - Chas' son - is coming tomorrow to stay for the weekend. Katie tells Andy that she is going to see her dad tomorrow. Also, Diane hires Syd to fix the Woolpack roof.
- It's the day after yesterday and Dave puts more pressure on Rodney, even making illegal acts like threatening and broking some of his antiques. Howard comes by Rodney's house since they made an agreement of settling the deal this morning but Rodney stalls for more time, putting it up until later the same day. Mr. Bevan is understandably annoyed. Gloria forces Eric to choose between his (and Steph's) business scam or their marriage. Eric succumbs and gives Rodney the planning permission but is his chance to sell it off to Howard Bevan gone? Robert drives himself and Elaine home from a picnic but gets into a car crash on Robblesfield Road when the former doesn't pay enough attention on his driving. Elaine isn't wakening up after the accident but Robert seems to have come out if it pretty much unharmed. He sees to it that an ambulance is sent for but while he waits, in a bid to save his own skin, he makes the life changing decision to move her to the driver's seat, which increases the chance of her dying. Andy finds out what he did but his brother begs him to keep quiet. When the paramedics arrive, Robert starts spinning a web of lies. Also, Ollie's farewell party starts.
- This episode continues on the same day as the episode before. The news of the car crash spreads through the village and the Marsden's are soon gathered at the hospital. Ronnie attacks Robert, convinced that it's his fault that his daughter is in ICU. It's suspected that Elaine might have a skull fracture after leakage of spinal fluid is detected, so she is taken for a CAT-scan. Andy tries to persuade Robert to come clean about the accident but he won't hear it and lies to the police later when questioned about what happened. Louise have arranged to go out with Guy Denton, one of the men she met through the speed dating but she cancels the date after only a few drinks at the Woolpack since he reminds her a little bit of Ray. Danny doesn't believe in a long-distance relationship so he breaks up with Ollie. Rodney, now an almost-millionaire after selling off the Mill to Mr. Bevan earlier, can now finally pay off his debt to Dave the loan shark. Gloria decides to spend less time in London and resume her position as Eric's right-hand woman at the factory which means that Steph will have to go back doing manual labor. Also, Nicola, in a drunken state, quits her job since she thinks that her now rich father will provide for her.
- Emily tells her friends the story of Christmas Past, when the Salvation Army fought to save the souls of Ebenezer Dickens and Ella Scratchit.
- Bob suspects Viv of having an affair. Val is forced to pay the Dingles for her own furniture. Pearl ends up with an unexpected cruise companion.
- Louise lies on Viv's behalf. Afraid of losing Carl, Lexi can't bring herself to tell the truth. Zak is forced to pay for Eli's carelessness.
- After becoming Two-Face, Harvey Dent finds himself locked in Arkham Asylum. Whilst there, he must learn to accept himself for the monster he has become, as well as do what he can to survive among his fellow inmates.
- Ashley and Laurel bury baby Daniel. Charlie returns to threaten Jo. Pearl is hurt by Edna's insinuation that she's making a play for Doug.
- After accusing Jo of talking to Sam about their relationship, Andy lashes out at Jo and goes in search of Sam.
- Anna demands that Carl finish with Lexi before they go any further but Carl is stunned when Lexi confronts him with his darkest secret.

- Gray grows suspicious at Katie's odd behaviour and realizes she is planning something drastic with the baby. Gray calls the hospital to check on the caesarean and discovers Katie has secretly brought the date forward.
- It's Christmas and Terry comes home from the rehabilitation unit, but possibly only for the day though as he's not sure he wants to go back to his normal life for real yet. It appears that Shadrach have been hiding in the Dingle barn for some time and he apparently noticed Charity hide the stolen money somewhere in there. When the police come around to search, he tips the police to search the outbuilding!
- The episode continues shortly after where the previous one ended. The coppers raid the barn but doesn't find the money. Shadrach comes with lame explanations to his family (who of course are suspicious of him because of his advice to the police). They can only sigh and try to keep him in their eyesight. He later sneaks into the house alone but doesn't get privacy for long, he gets caught red-handed with Charity's money and receives a bashing from brother Zak. The Dingles will probably just give him another chance, and another, and another...
- Emily is tasked with counseling the sinners, but her encounters with the people she counsels sends her determined to route out their sins.
- Matthew, determined to stop Rosemary being buried next to Tom gets Carl & Jimmy to help him fill in the grave but is taken away by police, He returns later on with a dustbin lorry. Perdy tells Grayson that she wants a divorce.
