- Chrissie and Serena clash over Keller's non-referral system as time starts to run out on a patient who may lose her leg. Meanwhile, Mo insists in returning to work but she gets a surprise when Sorcia turns up at Holby after their son is admitted.
- Cupid comes to town in the form of Ben's mischievous daughter, Emma. Dressed in a fairy costume and armed with magic fairy dust, Emma's wish on this visit is to find her dad a new wife - and Maggie is the fairy godmother of her dreams.
- Chantelle's attempts to cheer Elizabeth up backfire when she plays a joke on Elizabeth's patient who doesn't see the funny side. Meanwhile, Michael finally sees the error of his ways in getting in a relationship with Lulu but not before she hits his daughter Jasmine. Sensing a time bomb Hanssen has Lulu 'promoted' to a job in London so that she cannot wreck Sunil & Michael's plan for Trust status.
- Plans to build a housing estate are cancelled after a report containing information about contamination in the soil is found by the police. How many people will be killed to stop the report getting out?
- Sacha and Chrissie plan a quite wedding but it goes haywire when his mother and daughters find out. Elsewhere, Michael takes the drug cabinet key from Eddi until the investigation into Max's drug taking is over and enlists Luc to oversee drugs distribution until then. But Luc gives Eddi the benefit of the doubt and gives her the key but later regrets it when he catches her stealing drugs from a patient. After she embarrasses everyone at Chrissie & Sacha's wedding reception Luc takes her away from the reception. Meanwhile, Ollie tells Tara he loves her whilst consulting on a Chinese patient with language difficulties.
- Greg does his best to put distance between himself and his old school friend Andy but Andy won't let him. Finally refusing to have anything more to do with him leads Andy to consider suicide from the top of one of the hospital buildings - will Greg be able to get to him on time? Meanwhile, a newly returned Frieda baits F1 Lulu after she susses what her game is. Elsewhere, Elizabeth tries to nurse her mentally unstable mother and finally has to admit defeat and seek help.
- Jonny & Mo place bets on Tara & Ollie's relationship & how it develops. Jonny wins the bet when Ollie tries to protect Tara after she makes a mistake with a patient. Meanwhile, Luc and Eddi's burgeoning relationship hits a snag just as an outbreak of Legionnaire's disease is discovered in Holby. Elsewhere, Dan asks Simon out.
- Serena's mum, Adrienne McKinnie, is back in Holby for her operation. After her operation and due to staff shortages she remains unchecked and suffers a stroke - which puts Chantelle in Serena's firing line. Gemma visits the Holby psychiatrist in order to continue her rotation. Although Gemma feels fine she goes back to work even though she has not been signed back and she has a a meltdown when treating a patient and later suffers a panic attack.
- Both Nick and Wayne's private lives are infringing on their work. Nick has to arrest the brother of his lover, Sasha, and Wayne is accused of bashing the husband of a woman he had brief fling with.
- Jonnie tries to fix his fractured friendship with Mo after the fallout from the Jac break-up. Elsewhere, Ric returns to find Serena running Holby in the absence of Henrik. Elliot tries to get Ric to apply for the vacant position but Ric refuses.
- The clinical skills lead becomes a battleground between Malick and Dan - with only one winner. Rafi confronts Greg over his attraction for his wife Sahira after a particular trying day and Alex and Michael reach a truce - but will it stay in place once he finds out about the report she has written for Hanssen?
- After risking their lives to save a missing kayaker, the team is hunted down by a murderous drug addict in a deadly game of cat and mouse. Also, Jordan and Heidi discover a secret drug lab in a national park.
- Malick tells his new-found son Jake he doesn't want anything to do with him as he prepares to take his exams that will lead him to be a consultant. Elsewhere, Ollie posts a party at Tara's home online and he gets more than he bargained for when the party is overtaken by unknown people.
- A press officer from the Department of Health pay a visit to Hanssen following his previous unscheduled television interview. But Hanssen isn't finished yet and ends up embarrassing the Minister of Health publicly again on television. Luc keeps Eddi away from Holby to cure her addition to opiates. Tara tries in vain to get a young woman to take the heart she is being offered and in doing so incurs Elliott's wrath.
- When a plane goes down in dense bushland near Mt. Thomas, the Heelers are involved in a search and rescue operation, discovering a politician dragging a dead girl from the wreckage.
- Gemma gets bitten by a goth patient and in the process of chasing up a psych consult on the patient meets new CT consultant Harry Tresler. Meanwhile, Malick meets with the mother of one of Amanda Layton's possible victims. Elsewhere, Mo pushes Jac to tell Jonnie about the baby.
- The arrival of two backpackers in town leads to a murder investigation for the Heelers. One of the backpackers complicates Wayne's life when a romance blossoms.
- Jake Thompson gives Jac her 20-week scan but she gets bad news when he tells her that her baby has a diaphragmatic hernia. Edward encourages Mary-Claire to try and get into Ric's good books but when a mistake is made in theatre it rocks her confidence. Elsewhere, Arthur learns that being nominated for Doctor of the Year brings is not plain sailing. Meanwhile, new F1 Zosia March doesn't make a good impression with either her colleagues or her patients.
- Sacha is all over the place since Chrissie left for a visit to her dad in Australia. Gemma and Harry have to work together and sparks fly between them but on the advice of a patient Harry goes easy on her. Sharon asks Elliott out to the opera but after a needling from his colleagues he cancels and then un-cancels after she helps his patient out. Michael's daughter Jasmine prepares to fly back to the US and Michael's terminal patient Seb takes a turn for the worse.
- Disgraced former cop Gary Beck is shot dead at his mother's funeral, and Superintendent Terry Jarvis was there to witness it. To solve this case Duncan will have to work closely with Jarvis
- An anxious Chantelle awaits the hearing on the treatment of Serena's mother. Down in A&E Serena comes face to face with a journalist who's intent in ferreting out information on her action against the Holby Trust. The F1 prize deadline puts Gemma and Arthur on a high. Tara returns to Holby, even though she's on extended sick leave, but Elliott allows her to continue her research but not take on any doctoral rounds or procedures. Tara is forced to go to see a consultant neurologist but refuses to consider brain surgery to reduce the mass. But after a meltdown in the car-park she reconsiders and advises the staff by email of her condition.
- After AAU reaches crisis point because of the non-referral system Michael takes matters in his own hands. An overtired Tara refuses to ask for help and nearly endangers a patient in the process and elsewhere Chantelle comes face to face with a colleague from school who takes her wrath out on Chantelle.
- Malick starts his first day on the job as a consultant and Serena celebrates her birthday but both are in for unwanted surprises. Sacha confides in Mo as he tries to remain optimistic about Chrissie's radiotherapy. Hanssen learns that he's become a grandfather but Chantelle's niceness to him and her dealings with a pregnant patient pushes him over the edge and he gives her a disciplinary warning. But Arthur tries to stand up for Chantelle as they head for the Young Doctor of the Year award but tragedy strikes on their way?
- Hanssen comes under pressure from Sir Fraser Anderson to choose whether to save Darwin and Sahira's new job or lose foundation status for Holby. Meanwhile, a jealous Dan tries all manner of tricks to keep Chrissie from Malick as he fears Malick will tell Chrissie about their kiss. Chrissie tells Eddi that Chantelle will have to be let go so Sacha takes on the task of telling her and finds it very hard to do.
- Michael incurs George Binns's wrath when he goes against protocol with a patient forcing the patient to be transferred. When the patient dies Michael takes his fury out on George and Hanssen. Meanwhile, Serena and Ric clash over a liver transplant case when it is discovered that the patient had taken a drink. Elsewhere, Mo asks Jonnie to be her plus one on the same day that he's going away secretly with Jac. So Jonnie goes about setting her up with smitten obstetrician Jake Thompson much to Mo's fury.

- Job placements are on the line when the Mt Thomas station undergoes an internal efficiency audit. Nick applies for the Watchhouse Keepers job.
- Ric puts his faith in Chantelle after Serena keeps putting her down but when she oversteps the mark in relaying information to a patients husband she puts her professionalism in jeopardy. Luc disappears upsetting Eddi which isn't helped by constant needling by Chrissie. Michael puts his much planned visit to the US on hold to cover for Luc missing his son's birthday in the process.
- Serena's mother, Adrienne McKinnie, is admitted to Holby - Serena oversteps the mark by getting involved in the treatment much to Ric's annoyance. Elsewhere, the suspected child abuse case takes a different turn when the mother is diagnosed with suspected brittle bone disease which her son could also have inherited.
- Elizabeth's mum is transferred to Holby and Ric takes over her care on his day off and tries to persuade Elizabeth that she is not to blame for her mothers illness. Sahira misses her 2-year old son's birthday party to operate on a four year old trauma case and comes under severe pressure in doing so. Meanwhile, Lulu tests Eddi's patience on AEU.
- A massive explosion rips through the A-list party of an infamous breakfast radio host. Michelle takes extreme action when the rivalry between Chase and Bingo starts to affect their work.
- Sahira's last day is eventful to say the least and Hanssen is not for helping in the slightest. Malick gets in over his head when he attempts to repair a child's hand cut through by a chainsaw. Eddi and Luc work together with a temperamental pregnant woman which brings them romantically closer.
- Jac returns from Japan after six weeks but the relationship between her and Jonny deteriorates almost immediately but a later incident brings them closer and Jac confesses her love for him. Malick's former college girlfriend, Anna Patterson, turns up in Holby complaining of stomach pains and also looking for their missing son Jake. A subsequent operation reveals cancer cells and a review that she has advanced bile duct cancer and secondary tumours on her liver. Ric advises her that she has weeks to live and tells Malick to make amends with his estranged son. Serena makes her feelings on her mothers care at Holby clear to Henrik.
- The shocking death of coroner's driver Corey Mayer is compounded by the theft of the body he was transporting. Was his murder just collateral damage or was he the intended target?
- Jac is guilt-ridden over her one-night stand with Sean especially when she finds out he's married to a fellow paeds resident. Their patient Caitlin wastes no time telling Sean's wife Vanessa about their indiscretion just after Vanessa had informed Sean that he was to be a first-time dad. Meanwhile, Malick gets a shock when he's confronted by the new porter, Jake Patterson, telling him that Malick is his dad. Elsewhere, new F1's Gemma Wilde and Arthur Digby begin their rotation at Holby.
- Jonny and Jac's secret romance is going strong until she receives an invitation to Joseph Byrne's upcoming nuptials and the romance starts to unravel sharply and she turns to Sean Dolan. Henrik returns to Holby which threatens Serena's position of authority until Terence appoints her to a senior role. Elsewhere, Chrissie finds a lump on her breast.
- Two bodyguards fail to protect their charge and the consequences are fatal. A double homicide is the result. The team must work fast before the remaining bodyguard takes the law into his own hands.
- An old friend of Tom's is brutally attacked, but charging the offender becomes more complicated than he bargains for after learning the suspect is in Witness Protection.
- Alan McLaren, a hot-shot consultant surgeon from Newcastle, descends on Holby to carry out a risky trial procedure on a very ill patient and threads on Ric's toes but in the process impresses Malick. Malick considers applying for a consultant general post in Newcastle but issues with Jake might throw process in jeopardy. Elsewhere, the son of a patient, arrives in Holby but he turns out to be a stalker of Gemma's who was warned to stay away from her. Elsewhere, Ollie and Tara decide to get married on the eve of her operation.
- Chantelle's mediation with her mugger clashes with Arthur's stint as clinical lead of an appendectomy patient and he must choose which is more important. Ric calls out Harry and challenges him to prove himself but in doing so Harry endangers his colleagues' lives with his maverick approach to a patient with a rocket flare in his chest. An unexpected visitor to Darwin brightens up Elliott's day.
- Tom Croydon is shot at the Imperial Hotel. The mood of paranoia among the Heelers intensifies as they set out to capture the prison escapees and avenge Tom's shooting.
- When officers from Internal Investigations arrive in town en masse to probe allegations of corruption among the Heelers, tempers fray. The day goes from bad to worse when a trio of prisoners escape while being transported.
- Sasha finds out via Chantelle of Dan and Chrissie's engagement and struggles to accept that she will be truly happy with him. Michael fights for his job in the wake of Sunil's re-appearance after an RTA and it is not helped with Sir Frasier wanting him gone. Meanwhile, Hanssen does damage control to save Holby and changes his mind at the last minute to shut up the cardiac ward and reinstates Greg and Elliott. Eddi and Sasha say a final goodbye to Josh as he leaves to go home.
- Sahira's project for her Cardiac Trauma Unit is on thin water with Hanssen and so she defies him but how much trouble will it land her in. Meanwhile, Dan thinks about introducing Chrissie to his mother but Chrissie has plans to spend weekend studying with Malick which only causes an oneupmanship game between both which could end nasty.
- Simon gets a permanent job offer in Leeds which upsets Dan and takes its toil during surgery on a broken neck. But some wise words from Malick makes Dan see the light and he quits his job to move with Simon. Meanwhile, Tara returns to Holby and reaches an understanding with Hanssen that if her condition worsens she steps away from Holby. Elsewhere, Ella reappears in AED after being injured in a fire much to Chrissie's horror. Later, Chrissie proposes to Sasha and he accepts.
- Amanda Layton, the jailed girlfriend of a convicted murderer, is admitted to Holby with stab wounds unaware that her boyfriend has taken his own life. Elsewhere, Sacha's daughter Rachel is admitted after returning from holiday and after a number of tests Ric suspects that she may have leukemia. Meanwhile, Jac is having a day of hell with a frequent flyer patient but it leads to some surprising news for Jac - she's pregnant.
- Both Sacha and Malick have a difficult day with their respective patients; a young snowboarder who may not walk again and a nervous 40-year old who is afraid of hospitals. Meanwhile, Henrik has to perform a laproscopic procedure on Sir Terence's 'wife' and later finds out that all cardiothoracic surgeries are being transferred to St. James within 6 weeks which will have a devastating effect on current staff in that area.
- Lara finds herself the target of organised crime after rescuing a charming con man from a plane crash, and Chase and the team are plagued by bad luck while treating the survivors of a light plane crash in remote wilderness.
- Hanssen appoints Sahira to review Sunil's plastic research as Sunil does a disappearing act with the express wish that all cases are dealt with quietly and kept out of the media - but an ambitious glamour model may put paid to that. Meanwhile, tired of Jac's constant jibes and scut work Oliver considers his career and decides to take a former patient up on his offer of a job - but will his love of medicine change his mind? Elsewhere, Sasha has bad news for Josh who takes it badly.
