The investigation of Tom and Nil affects the operations of the Senador and he uses his political knowledge to drop the agents from the case. But Tom and Nil insist to investigate and Satã kills Tom. Now Nil seeks revenge and her meets Hernandes to make a deal since the enemy of his enemy is his friend.
- In 1947, the peasant Jones and his four year-old son Julinho are executed by Jarbas and the other five brothers of his wife Martha that do not accept the marriage of their sister with a lower-class man. When the criminals discover that they have been lured and robbed, they kidnap the seventeen out of the eighteen passengers of the bus and bring them to the basement of their farm to be tortured to disclose where their money is. Meanwhile, José's daughter Marisa, who is the lover of Júlio, joins them to help José and Júlio to revenge and rescue the innocent passengers from the dangerous gang.

The song with lyric of José Carlos Capinam, music of Caetano Veloso and sang by Gilberto Gil (presently Minister of Culture of Brazil) foresees the scenes and gives a sonorous construction. There is a comparison between specialized and non-specialized workers, with the parallel opinions of a qualified worker and a non-qualified worker. Then it shows some workers of the civil construction and from the industry. Later, it is presented the preachers and the "umbanda" (a Brazilian religion and sort of variation of voodooism and fetishism) and their followers. The charity and the opinion of Mr. Entrepreneur are also presented in this documentary that exposes wounds in Brazilian society.
- The gardener Cabral stumbles with the grave of his boss Dr. Marcio in the garden of his small ranch and tells his discovery to his wife and neighbors. In the end, they disclose a secret to each other. 2nd: "Mulher à Vista" ("Woman in Site"): A voyeur peeps at his neighbor for days with his binoculars expecting to see her naked breasts. He has an argument with his friend and tells that only a car crash would help him in his intent. When there is a car accident on the street, the voyeur succeeds in seeing the teats of his neighbor but when he looks at the street, he has a surprise. 3rd: "10 Anos de Casado" ("10 Years of Marriage"): After ten years of marriage, a suburban man prefers his chicken to his wife. One day, she prepares a very special dinner for him. 4th: "A Santinha do Encantado" ("The Little Saint from Encantado"): In Encantado, a girl pretends that she can see Our Lady and her greedy father lures the believers to make money. 5th: "O Apartamento" ("The Apartment"): A young couple borrows an apartment from a friend to have sex since they are not accepted in hotels. However, the place is a rendezvous with many costumers. Things get complicated when the owner, who is the aunt of the friend, unexpectedly arrives. 6th: "Os Canarinhos de N.S. da Dores" ("The Little Canneries of Our Lady of Pain"): A priest uses his coral and a roof problem in the church to get more contribution from his parishioners. 7th: "Hei de Vencer" ("I Will Win"): A travesty presents his show to a choreographer and to the owner of the night-club and they love it. However, he is an unemployed man married with a boy that needs a job to make money. 8th: "O Grande Dia" ("The Great Day"): A man from a poor community will sing in the popular Brazilian freshman show of Chacrinha. He has his day of star with his friends but when the time for the presentation comes, he freezes and fails.

Meanwhile Fiore also plots to steal André's money with his gang.

However, when Claudia's grandmother and François's client and neighbor Ms. Chiquinha finds that her granddaughter has been lured by Lobo but is in love with the liar, she uses her life experience to advise Claudia.
